Just can't get a job, especially one that fits in. It will get better.

I am not much help - I opt for study and self employment rather than a job to work in around the kids because mainly I couldn't find one to suit- but then again that's why I am in so much debt.
I am sure it will get better - anything of entrepreneural magnificance bubbling under your surface?
If you could do anythiing L what would it be?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Can't post a pic as OH comes on here. Its ivory halter neck and beaded with multi colour pastel beads and weighs a tonne!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I caved and got the chips. Yummy lunch. I really want my pudding now too but scared my workmates will think I am big greedy pig so cant
however, will be pleased to know I didnt buy organic matter yesterday at Homebase. £6 a bag!!! I did get 6 strawberry plants though as my seeds just havent come up. £4 for 6. I got home to plant them out and found a bag of farmyard manure in the shed which I must have bought last year so used that around the raspberry bushes and rhubarb. Hopefully will see a difference soon.
Walking dog at lunchtime I saw a dead horse. Never seen a dead horse before. Looked ok as in no guts or anything. Just lying there with a v bloodshot eye and tissue up its nostrils (not sure why). I dont get too upset at these things except thinking about how the owner feeling.
Lovely workmate just came back from lunch and handed me a packet of dill seeds saying she got them free but wont use them. How nice was that? Dont think I have ever used Dill in my life but will grow and find a use for it LOL
ps. dont worry about being taller than him. Didnt do Tom Cruise any harm having his women tallerDress sounds lovely. I would be worried about getting comfortable shoes though if the dress is v heavy as you will be knackered!!!

Bluis you sound like you have it sorted
My OH wants to just take care of the kids - but - has already said if it was up to him they wouldn't go to see their Dad. So I absolutely refuse to let him contribute directly monthly as a consequence.
Ohh the rows we have had - he respects my views but it drives him insane. Bless he's already got uni saving started for them both and pays for musical tuition, will contribute to trips, clothes etc if I ask him to and he does lots of indirect helping out - iyswim.
Its worse than being between a rock and a hard place.
I would never stop them going to see daddy - so I get no funds all round - hurrah for me!!
Mind you at the end of the day I will be able to beholden to no one I guess and don't have to compromise too much.
Thus ends my little soapbox.
My prob - is I refuse to rely on and trust no one else to provide where my kids are concerned.
It drives some of my other friends crazy. OH earns a great wage - etc but I am firmly stuck in my modest waystis my job to provide.
So I should shut up and stop moaning......Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Well it sounds beautiful. I dont know whether I would go for a plain satin if your dress is already heavily beaded?

I had thought that myself and normally I wouldn't go so girly but don't know what's come over me. Also swore blind I wouldn't buy a wedding magazine. I bought one yesterday, nearly a fiver!!!!! I did have a giggle at some of the 'rustic' ideas and how much they cost and remember seeing similar ideas on this forum for pennies.
Undecided about the shoes now, beaded or plain?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

When I got married I think I bought 2 magazines. I was absolutely gob smacked that people actually paid the kind of money they were talking about and that was in 1991! (boy was I young and stupid then!!Lol)

Yep job hunting. Still don't know what I want to do and I'm 36!!!!! Did have a great job until Feb last year. i was doing the baking and ready meals (proper stuff) in a farm shop but the owner decided to close it.
I am a partner in OHs business (part time) so I do stuff for that. Just want to earn enough to pay towards the debt and keep my horses.
