Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
I've always found the pre-paid fuel more expensive than the gas stations so all you do is bring it back with a full tank.
  • I have booked a fly drive with airtours but have booked a car separately as I didn't want to pay through the nose for the insurance on the flydrive car. Haven't done this before. Do I just avoid picking up the car without telling anyone?

    Thanks

going through this website http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/ ,you need to click on the banner at the top,,a two door compact is £252 for 14 days for the gold option which includes all inurances and a tank of fuel. i 've used them twice before ( i had the grand voyager tho'), the guy from Dollar said to bring it back on empty!

I notice (and for obvious reasons) flights to Orlando over Christmas are really high.
I have managed to bag a fly drive deals with all taxes and comprehensive insurance package for 2 weeks, with United Airlines and paid

    Flights £459 per person
    Compact car £260 (2 weeks)

Is this a reasonable deal? or have I over paid?

    Hi
I booked a flydrive on My travel .com about 4 weeks ogo out of Belfast .It cost £569 for the 4 of us for 2 weeks .I also took Airtours platinum insurance package which was £295 which covers everything including multiple drivers and a free tank of petrol. So for £864 all in i think i got a bargain considering the price of the same flydrive on the same flight same date went up to over £1300 + insurance 2 days later .Just 3 weeks until we go can't wait .
hi where can u find fly drives on mytravel thanks

just stick in where you want to fly to and from where. Currently have Vegas for less than £200 for 14 days. Get the flight from them, car hire from Dollar or Airline Networks and for 2 people you can have the flight a convertible plus all the insurance you could ever want (plus additonal driver and tank of gas) for £366 pp.

DON'T take the fly drive car! The Insurance is a rip off and v.expensive. You can always take the fly drive flight and not take the car. Book your car from else where.

ahmmm ...have you noticed that BigC posted his message last September?
Try airline network for the car part. Will save you £100 or so.
