to make sure i have done it right, i wanna put more on so how long should i hold off for before applying more?
Im not a DIY person atall, so this is my first attempt, looks horrible tho lol because i dont have anything to smooth it over with. My mum would kill me if i used any of her cutlery...

I think with a silicon seal you should only apply it once otherwise it will look wrong?

You should cut the nozzle bigger than the gap and go over once...
If you have ballsed it up just go over again to fill the gap when first run is still wet
or if you have let ir dry wipe witha bit of turps then re-apply...
The turps just softens the skin on the silicone.0 -
I just dont know if i have put enough on, i dont care if it loks awful hehe as long as it does the trick.0

If it has already cured, you will have to cut it out a re-apply, cut the nozzle larger.0

It was still wet when i re-applied if thats what you mean0

You can use a damp cloth over your finger to smooth it off when its first applied.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

If you are not happy with the finish, let it dry and cut it off.
Cut the nozzle bigger than you need like Mr Skint said, and for smoothing it off, I always use my finger or thumb. Wet your finger first though (I always spit on mine for this), it will stop the silicone sticking so much to it.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
