Is anyone cutting back their holidays this year?

I think I'll visit more places in the UK this year. I've already had a short trip to London and I'm off to Edinburgh next month.
I quite fancied going to Japan again this year but with the current exchange rate at ~130yen/£ compared to the 230yen/£ I got last time I was there, I think I'll wait for things to improve considerably before I'd consider it.
Please tell me it's going to improve!:undecided0 -
Please all go on nice, expensive holidays. My DH works for an airline, so in buying that expensive holiday you're doing the altruistic thing and helping him keep his job. Thank you in advance.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'd need a passport - and a guarantee I wouldn't be sat next to somebody holding a kid, or somebody's kid, nor sat in front or behind any. They freak me out... and in a confined space I'd be looking under the seat for the parachute and heading for the door to get out.vivatifosi wrote: »Please all go on nice, expensive holidays. Opportunity to see a lot more of the British Isles. Trouble is, the hotels and self catering cottages are going to be full of europeans and people from the states making the most of their stronger currencies.0

probably not. I have toddler and an infant so going abroad would be a nightmare. Considered a UK based 'holiday' but don't fancy the whole butlins/pontins/haven holiday camp thing. We will probably just have several day trips around scotland.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

I have to say I would rather stay at home than go to Pontins! Mainly as I went to a place similar to that to visit relatives who were spending a week there and the rooms were awful! I need somewhere that is immaculately clean or I cannot sleep there never mind doing anything else! (if you know what I mean
)
I am but only because the better half and I will be having a new arrival soon.
Saying that, I have planned something a little special for my wife on our anniversary, just after the expected date of our new arrival:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.
