Hi Cady, if it will fit in your washer then go ahead.
Don't put in too much soap, or there will be bubbles everywhere.
Ideally it should go out on the line for a blow and then be aired off indoors.
But if it's raining, then it would take 24 hours to dry indoors, unless you are going to put the heating on.
If you have a bannister rail, then drape over that, turning every hour or so.
If you have a conservatory, then drape over chairs in there, but regular turning is the key.
If you can, I'd wait for a dry breezy day.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

If you don't need it tonight, then it will be fine.
Give your bannister a good wipe over, just so no marks transfer onto the wet fabric.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Thanks its on now and hopefully will dry over night0

I needed to wash mine a while ago as it had tea all over it. I didn't want to risk it in my washing machine in case the weight damaged it but I couldn't get to a laundrette.
Sooooo I half filled the bath and tipped in some washing liquid and spent the evening jumping up and down on it, then emptying and refilling. Then I hung it outside over the airer and now it's really clean, smells lovely and I got loads of exercise washing it!August grocery challenge: £50
Spent so far: £37.40 :A0 -
Hi does anyone know how much it'll cost to have a double duck down duvet cleaned at the launderette??
Or should I just by a new one? Thanks.0
