But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Call tesco pf and find out why my cc+ card never works. My dd for £100 goes on to my cc+ the first of every month and when i went to pay yesterday for my shopping they turned it down!!! They let me pop outside to check balance and it still said £6.34. My dd had still not cleared although according to my bank the money had gone from my acc. I was fuming. This is the 2nd time this has happened now. I had to put my shopping on my normal switch putting me into my o/d (bills just come out) Thankfully i dont get charged for it, but thats not the point. Sorry for the rant:o I feel better now.
Hope weathers not too bad for the rest of you. Have a good day, will catch up later£387.39/£196.46

Morning All :hello:
We've still got snow :snow_laug shame I can't stay at home - office is 10 mins away
:rotfl:
Feeling a bit better today, so today I have/will- joined another bingo site - for the cashback
so TWO scratchs today = 20p :rotfl: - £69 from Quidco winging its way to me
- Trying very hard to use a £10 voucher for on-line purchase of an Argos item, but the site is refusing the voucher - I've sent an e-mail, I can't see a minimum spend. Although delivery is £5.80 it saves me some money,and the bother of going over to the nearest Argos.
- HM sweet potato soup and HM bread for lunch, can't find the recipe I was going to use for tonights supper so I shall make a "using up bits " pasta dish.
- hopefully get to the bank to pay in a cheque
- hopefully will be able to get to drama tonight if the roads are clear.

Trying to sparkle despite atmosphere at work. At least Popeye has said if I can't cope with it all I can give up work, we would just pay off the debt more slowly, somehow the freedom that gives me; helps me to cope
0 - joined another bingo site - for the cashback

Morning all!! :wave:
Nice early start for me today (was determined to get onto page 1 haha!
)
No more snow here, quite disappointed to be honest, just very windy and very cold... yuk!
I'm out all afternoon, so enjoying snuggling up beside the fire in my dressing gown just now (not very MSE but brrrrr!).
Todays list consists of:- [STRIKE]Continue with washings, they're never-ending! Got all my big stuff done, so it's just little washes today :rolleyes:[/STRIKE]
- [strike]Reach next £1.00 on STP - determined to make my target this month![/strike]
- [strike]Do 1 new review on DooYoo[/strike]
- [strike]Do daily scratch card[/strike]
- [strike]Do any surveys available[/strike]
- Try to transfer some of my GreenMet items onto Amazon... if I can work out how!
- Babysitting this afternoon, getting train/lift up to pick-up kids at swimming to save getting a taxi (even though its tempting cos it's sooo cold!)
- [STRIKE]take pictures of items to Ebay[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]try to list a few more items on Ebay[/STRIKE]
- wash dishes
- try to find this recipe for cheese potato pie you are all talking about as it sounds lovely!

Morning all!
Chilly and icy here in Swindon. And I have a poorly piglet on my hands. He's all quiet, doesn't want food and isn't even getting excited over his Postman Pat DVD. Think its serious!:rotfl: So a quiet day indoors for us....not very DFW as I'm missing out on earning money for Mrs Mop job at SIL's. Piglet more important though.
Anyway, heres todays meagre efforts!
* Try to sparkle...wearing stripy bed socks. Most attractive!
* NSD...mainly cos won't be leaving the house!
* Storecupboard lunch and dinner
* Check on-line banking
* Sit and make list of things needed for mothers day hampers
* See if nursery will let me use todays hours another day
* Try and work up enthusiasm to list some things on ebay
Have good days all - catch up later!

Good morning everyone!
Sunny at the moment here though lots of frozen snow underfoot. I am not going in to work today - taking my day off today instead of Friday (I do 4 days per week officially, but usually manage 5 - the 5th being unpaid of course :sad: ). I WILL take my day off this week though because of the dangerous driving conditions.
So far I have:
checked online banking - as expected
MS porridge for breakfast
Seen to animals and put extra peanuts out for the birds - poor little things!
Put some washing on at 30 degrees.
Later I will:
Walk dogs for free exercise
Make storecupboard supper
Clean a room with products I apready have, to avoid so much housework at the weekend (stealing Sophie's Mum's idea).
Make marmalade with a couple of elderly grapefruit that my DD had in her fruit bowl.
Not NSD, as I will have to pay to have the range cooker serviced today:eek:
I am sure I will do other things as well, but can't think of them at the moment!
Have a nice day everyone :j0
