  • I had one for Christmas and I love it.
Don't know why I didn't ask for one before.
Yes, loads of people have giggled but it means I can use the car less and my arms aren't aching after I've stocked up on the Co-op's BOGOF washing powder offer.
My 6 yd old DS loves it.
    Every home should have one!
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Hi Squiggles

I have a big trolley but also wanted one like you are looking for. I got a trolley designed for carrying luggage, its only small and we paid about £8 from Argos a few years ago. I then found a rucksac (cheapie) that I could attach with cable ties and it's great. I tucked in the straps and as it's all black it looks really good. I bet the whole thing only cost a tenner.

Other than diy try the markets, I saw some great ones but they were designed for smaller people than me! Always check the height first!

Did you get one rach? :D

Squiggles, there are some back pack ones around, I'll update the links in the OP later today and see if there are any good offers around

zztopgirl, great find with that 5% off! I wonder who won the cow print one :D
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
Proud to be a chic shopper

Has anyone found a chic shopper/wally trolley that will carry itself up four flights of stairs? :o

We use backpacks, but sometimes they're so full, I feel like I'm going to fall over backwards!

I'm almost 20. Am I too young for a Wally Trolley? I'm seriously thinking about getting one, because I want to start getting my fruit and veg from the market, but cannot really carry it home.

    Oooo me too.

Having always laughed at them in the past - I now am begining to want one!

We sold my car - as we don't really need two, but I do miss being able to do the food shopping on my own, without taking the kids....

A Wally Trolley would mean I could go on the bus....

I don't need one, shopping and F&V is delivered usually, but remember my Mam's very well, did have a funky tartan one once, but remember refusing to pull the do poo brown fake leather one! We didn't have a car until I was about 14 and the nearest shops were hiked to with the trolleys, or on the bikes with the bike bags & baskets.
One day I might be more organised...........
