I'm almost 20. Am I too young for a Wally Trolley? I'm seriously thinking about getting one, because I want to start getting my fruit and veg from the market, but cannot really carry it home.

Not too young at all! I was 20 when I was given my first by my wise old Grandma. I wondered about it at the time, but after a couple of arm-aching shopping trips I soon learnt to appreciate it. You couldn't get funky ones then either, but I do remember dressing up my brown monstrosity with loads of huge badges and scarves and stuff.

I've pretty much had a shopper ever since, but after a trip to France a few years ago, and seeing how perfect they were for shopping in the markets there, and how cool French women looked with them I was totally hooked!
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

IM taking my one I found abandoned ( it had a bust axle but OH mended it :A) it is one of the poo brown ones! But I wear quite a lot of brown and find it colour co-ordinates with my country look

Absolutely superb it is, I would not be without mine now, not at all. I want the cow one though, will sell some stuff on ebay to cover it!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

We use ours to go to the library on the bus and return our books as well as shopping in the market for fruit and veg, I can do a mini shop on my own if I have to with the wally trolley, saves us a fortune in diesel for the car. We have free bus passes now so I can take the trolley and nip into town when ever I want.........Brill...................

I finally got one yesterday from a local shop, and dh loves it, being a grumpy old man, he can now walk through crowds of people and they move out of his way instead of being bumped into all the time:beer:

I cant wait to go out shopping again so i can get more use out of it.:j

Hi fellow trolley peeps, at last I have managed to learn how to get you a pic of my trolley on the site. The handle is fixed and doesn't fold down, the 'bag and base' is detachable. It looks more purple than the pic though. This is the one I got from John Lewis in Milton Keynes. I noticed they had a few more last week when I was there. £26 which I thought was a good deal. I adore it and use it so much, I would hate to be without it. It's a Rolla. I wonder if they would send it mail order if anyone can't get there, maybe it's worth phoning to ask. They do a similar one in black with a flap not drawstring. It really seems to be a workhorse. I managed to track down the maker and I called to check they could do spares if anything failed. They assured me it shouldn't but they would be happy to help if it did. www.malroy.co.uk are the people who make them.

Rabbit, which department of John Lewis did you find it in? I was searching in the Oxford Street branch a few hours ago with no luck - I tried the kitchenwares, bags, and travel sections

    Thanks

I found it with the luggage but they had it quite hidden behind a pillar. I wonder if it's only available in Milton Keynes. Maybe if you phoned them they could sent it over to Oxford Street and you could collect it from there. HTH good luck.

    Thanks Rabbit :)

However TBH I think I am going to go the whole hog and get a Rolser, with the R&J discount :D I'm due for my annual payment from the cashback points on my Amex card, giving me a few quid short of £100, so I reckon I can afford it.

    Now the question is...

Do I get THIS one (the one with the black bag and pink flap) which is my favourite...
...or THIS one (in silver) which might be more practical as I live in an upstairs flat, but looks like it may be a little bulkier to store? (I have virtually no storage space and live on the 1st floor).

And can anybody tell me whether they are fussy about the billing and delivery address being the same? It would be a bit awkward if I have to get it sent to my home address... the office would be much easier!
