just crawling back after a miserable week. The broncoscopy was horrible and seemed to drag me right down into the black hole.Lots of bed and tears. The waiting for thursday to come for the results seems endless. So as you can gather am very sorry for myself.
Hi to the newbies who l have missed -you will be made welcome here.
    Love and hugs to all

  • Have a good one lw. I'm sorry you're feeling low - can I post any books to you that you can read to take your mind off feeling low? I would suggest I ring you when you're having hours alone in the house, but I think you may not want to go for that as you've mentioned how uncomfy you are with social things? If I'm wrong, let me know and we can have a natter.

pooh Try some coke that you've let go flat. You could also try some fruit smoothies or some clear soup, like chicken and sweetcorn - Blue Dragon does a good one. You could try some watermelon or something that gives lots of juice.
Hope you start to feel better soon.

bz You're a good lass looking after MIL2B like that. Hope you manage to get a nap sometime and that your sleep patterns are improving.

Another bargain fell into my lap today - an M&S bedside cabinet reduced from £149 to £39 coz it's got a damaged corner. I don't care a wotsit about a damaged corner, so snapped it up!
Did lots of work today, so don't feel too guilty about it *g*

  • Awww sharon - lots of hugs coming your way. It's a lot to deal with isn't it.
I'll keep fingers crossed for you and send you lots of good thoughts for the results.
Hope you have a restful weekend and am here anytime you need to vent.

Thanks cwta and LW DH has bought me some cola now. There is no melon available locally but maybe someone will, be going to a town tomorrow.
I somehow hadn't thought of lucozade either. I have had some Kendal mint cake, probably too much sugar but hey ho, can't get worse!

Isn't it weird how quickly your brain ceases to function. DH had 4 teeth out so he is not firing on all cylinders either.

sharon Giant hugs to you. You really need them at the moment. What a horrible experience to go through. I am praying for good results for you.

LW Huge hugs to you too. I know I complain about never having a minute to myself but being at home all day without them all would probably do exactly the same to me. We are all here for you to talk to though.
Sometimes I don't get on for long as I have too many others using my laptop bought for my use by me!!

poohbear what about things with ginger in them? (Ginger stops you feeling sick) Ginger tea? Giner snaps? Ginger nut biscuits? Other than that I was always given dry/lightly buttered toast to begin with when I was a kid, maybe some banana, but definitely nothing with dairy in til you're feeling better!

sharon I'm sorry luv, I just don't know how I can help...:o Wish I could make it all better for you m'dear.

Cwta I am sleeping better at night, although maybe not for long enough (hence I wanted a nap this arvo). Good news in that mil2b's "chronic renal failure" doesn't seem to be as serious as the statement makes it sound, as they would classify anyone who's had a kidney out to be in chronic renal failure...so phew! :)

Really looking forward to getting the wedding rings tomorrow!! :D I've just upset mother dearest tho, as she wanted us to go back to their house (Straford-u-Avon) after the suit checking in Brum and doesnt' seem to believe that we have fairly demanding lives at the moment! I wouldn't mind but I have genuine [STRIKE]excuses[/STRIKE] reasons this time! ;):p

Im having to type 1 handed as the other arm is holding a sleeping 9 week old gorgeous baby girl, her mum is a friend of dd's and she's come round to have her hair highlighted (the mum not the baby :D) Im enjoying every minute as you can guess :D just hope she stays asleep.

lw Im so sorry your struggling again and wish I knew the right thing to say to help, but Im a fellow sufferer and know that the only thing that helps me is time, so dont be too hard on yourself.

Oh, nap times over  I'll come back later

  • pooh some rehydration salts make make you feel a little better too?

sue Another 'ickle baby - you seem to have loads of them round you - how lovely. Good news I meant to tell you is that the 2 new vamp series books have come out and I've just finished the first of the 2, so will post it to you tomorrow or Monday - depends when I can get to PO.

bz Picking up the rings will be fun! All part of the excitement in the run up to the biiiiig day - can you and DF take some time out and go out for a nice relaxed lunch while you are there? Well done on avoiding the parentals *g*
You got plenty of sleep to catch up on and I suspect it'll take a bit of time, but I'm glad you seem to be getting there.

Just had chish and fips for dinns. Lully!

I made DF take us to the chippy for tea tonight too Auntie Axe. He's eaten all the bread (note the blame placement? ;)) and there was nothing else quick in before he went to work no.2....or that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it ;)

I don't think we'll get chance to have a "nice relaxed lunch" as it'll take the best part of two hours to get there and we need to get to the Jewellery Quarter first to get the rings etc, then go meet up with the rentals in the middle of the city for Slaters for the suit...maybe some tea/late lunch with them...but doubt it'll be nice or relaxed! ;)

suep I'm jealous. There's not much that makes you smile like holding a [STRIKE]non-screaming[/STRIKE] baby :) But don't look at me...I'm cooey/broody it would seem! lol

Oh she was so sweet, and didnt cry once I wanted to keep her :D

cwta Im so excited about the new books, thankyou for remembering how much I enjoyed them and I'll pass them on to Unity when Ive finished. Ive got a 3 page wish list on Amazon, is that bad ? Im trying to buy 1 a week from the market place, its cheaper than some magazines.

    BZ Have fun tomorrow

Poohbear Im with BZ on the dry/lightly buttered toast, I wont try anything else until I can keep that down. Hope you feel better soon.

I've finally tracked Dad down, he's at the local hospital with an infection, Im going to visit him tomorrow.

By the way, I've been reconsidering my honeymoon destination options...anyone got any ideas on somewhere abroad that's warm but not ridiculous, bit of a breeze, not deathly quiet or too loud, fairly flat, disabled/wheelchair accessable and what the deal is with taking wheelchairs abroad..? I'm worried about traipsing about the airports, but have a feeling that wheelchairs are checked in...??

Any clues, oh fonts of knowledge..? :D
