How about making a cake or some creative cooking with what you have in - making sure you sit to do it?!
BTW, we still haven't had piccies of your kitchen yet *g*
I prolly would if I lived anywhere near you Auntie Axe!
Cba with cooking, or indeed moving from the sofa. DF's managed to pass on his cold and I'm feeling very lethargic today... I could do some more cross-stitch, but I'm not sure I cba... I would make more wire flowers for the extra Order of Service covers I'm required to make, but I don't have much left and need to go to Hobbycraft for another spool, but I don't have the car... I could ring round the various Tescos and get them to put aside the vases that we need for the centrepieces at the venue (we went to the venue and sorted the catering yesterday and checked out whether the vases and flowers we enough), but I cba talking to them. The day is a bit dull and chilly here and I don't think it's helping my mood tbh..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Well the docs wasnt as bad as I thought. I didnt have to wait more than 2 mins before I was called in, I told him about the nerve pain, as Im already on 400mg of Lyrica which is almost the highest dose he said its not worth staying on it as Im obviously getting breakthough pain now so he wants me to come off it gradually and has put me back on an anti -inflammatry that I came off last year. I dont think he wanted to do too much as Im seeing my Rheumi in July, he said I should ask about a scan as Ive never had one and also said that the nerve pain in my low back and down my leg is definitly sciatica and not sacroilliac joint pain as it goes down to my foot. Then about the dizzyness, he thinks its a side affect from the Lyrica so said it should stop soon and if Im still having these attacks after coming off Lyrica then to go back. So it wasnt so scary, Im glad Im coming off Lyrica, the side effects have been awful for me, I know not everyone gets them, but those muscle jumps I get are all part of that too !
BZ Please dont go all mooky on us again, we worried about you last time. Do you think its a sort of panic over how soon the wedding is and the worry over MIL2b ? I wouldnt be surprised, you've had loads of stress from it all lately, I wish we could help.
pcl Yes I try and not let too many personal details leak out in my posts, Id hate for someone I know to work out who I am. I think its scary how many people are on here, but it shows how many people need help/advice in this country with their finances, and then end up addicted to the forums and never leave :rotfl:
Trailia I would complain to the council about the racket from next door, I cant stand noisy neighbours, we've lived next door to some awful ones in the past, luckily its really quiet around where we live now and we all get on, its one of the reasons I wouldnt want to move.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

bz, just have a listless day with bad daytime tv and rest. Sorry to hear you've got a cold on top of everything else. Stress will really affect your immune system.
sue sound like gp appointment was quite productive, am pleased. Surprised you've not had a scan before, but then I'm a Lupite rather than a Fibromite, so maybe they don't do them so commonly. Must be a relief to come off the Lyrica if that's the cause of the weird things happening.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I'm suffering for the cold and the infection in my system from the perma-abscess above my front tooth and the semi-shock of yesterday, plus worrying about getting all the wedding stuff done and the dogs (I'm sure they've got fleas and they're quietly pining for mil2b too) and mil2b and traipsing up and down to the hospital all the time...I'm just knackered out I think. I really didn't wanna get out of bed today, and I probably wouldn't've done if the dogs weren't asking to be let out  I'm peed off with Big Brother (just for exisiting mainly) cos it's interrupted my E4 afternoon viewing schedule! My sad little watching habits have been interrupted and despite having over 100 channels I still can't find much on to watch  *sigh*
You are all helping though, despite distance etc.
I'm glad the appointment was productive for youJust as you're coming off Lyrica I'm wanting to up it! I think it seems that we get on these types of medication and it's such a relief to have some reprieve from our symptoms and then in time we realise that there are symptoms still coming through and we up the dose, then after time we realise that symptoms are still getting through and we have to change again...and the cycle continues...

Nah, not throwing things at him. I went out there to talk to him and explained that he's playing right outside my bedroom window (in their house that's the front room, rather than anyone's bedroom like it is in mine), that I'm sick so don't sleep regular hours and I'd only had four hours' sleep, and being woken up by loud sounds means I wake with a headache or migraine, and would he mind playing in the back garden instead of the front one, please? He smiled, apologised three or four times, and has gone to do that.
My housemate who has the back bedroom won't care - she sleeps like a log!
I need to take more pictures... should get a decent camera. I'm all twitchy now about the DLA form processing time... now that I actually have it in and everything. I'm just waiting on them, and I really could use the extra income, once I've paid off the bills I owe.
Boiler still isn't working though... I'm about to scream at my landlady, it's been over a week and it's her responsibility. I need to do laundry - off down to my dad's for a week from Thursday, and I have no clean underwear left. And I can't do it without hot water.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Why does your laundry need hot water Tria? Do you not have a washing machine with a cold inlet? Glad you got the drummer snorted out."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

Unity -- lol, I think I look better green, but try this one (from my trip to Germany in February/March).
*hugs BZ*
BZ - Wot she said and I am sure your aunt will be there in spirit for your big day :A. I'm sure they pop back and forth between the worlds more than we know.
Tri - Where was that picture taken? I'm intrigued by the 'T' Shirt - is it the famous Oscar Wilde quotation?
CWTA - Believe me, I thought long and hard before buying MBT's, but if I never wear them again, I reckon they've cost me less than £1 per week so far and like I say there's no sign of any wear at all on the soles - so I can't complain. I'd be interested to see those Skechers, to see if they are made to the same standards - if they are then they're certainly a bargain. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. It's not really what I believe, but I do believe that she's happy and pain free in heaven now, so that'll do for me.She suffered a lot and for a long time so I'm glad she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Taken in the restaurant at the top of the Rheinturm in Düsseldorf; and nope, the T-shirt's actually a band shirt with an album cover. This one:Within Temptation. They rock.
BZ, I'm just getting all tangled up... it is the washing in the sink that needs hot water, not my laundry. Idk why I said that, lol. Damn fibro fog...Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -
Am trying to slow my head down a bit-anyone got any tips?
take care everyone xxxx
Sharon - Have you tried meditational CD's? I have three very good ones, one in particular includes healing and whether it works or not, it helps me feel better. PM me if you'd like me to send them to you.
I find music helps too especially Nick Drake and a little known bloke I found on MySpace called Will Cookson whose album is called 'Songs for a Sunday' - it's very restful. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
