    hello all :)

now to try and remember all iv read

LW have a fabulous time :D

pcl that seems really unfair that you choose next of kin but not relative? should be the same thing?? sort of, iykwim??

unity sorry you had a carpy time with the prescriptions :(

cwta , sorry about the house but fingers crossed for the one tomorrow :) the right one will come along just when you dont expect it ;)

sorry its all a bit short but i think im a bit brain dead from the cinema?? always leaves me tired  was a pretty good film though, i managed to stay awake for most of it anyway :rotfl:

bz i remember with my sisters wedding [and trying to do it on smaller shoe string than yours!!] that the flowers were ridiculous, hence having silk ones and having a go ourselves. You can get the perfect colour that way and everyone could keep them as well :) the buttonholes were really easy to do and looked fancier than the basic ones we had been quoted for? i got little beads for the ladies and bear grass for the mens. You can get most stuff from ebay as well so no leaving the house ;)

i hope its been an ok day for everyone, this odd weather gives me a really heavy head?

i decided earlier to make a hairdressers appointment for tomorrow morning which i may live to regret as im going shorter at the back lol

Just had a thought - how about popping onto the Old Style or In Your Home board on here? You could ask about decent florists in your area and maybe even find someone who would do them?
Remind me about this again...I'm in no mood right now :o

Where's the "Thank" button since the forum update? Am I the only one that can't see it today?

    Tria that's an impressive list!

Unity I hope your blood temp has returned to normal now after boiling over at the docs ;)

LW I was checking out cottages in Scotland (for the all illusive honeymoon destination) and getting quite excited about it so I really hope you have a good time and take lots of piccies! :)

Oh, and thanks for the Braveheart pics, that explains better than words! I can't even be @rsed with the furniture painting today, think I'll stick with my tele (which is now emitting sound again ) and t'internet (on my newly speeded up machine ) and some more cross-stitch perhaps. I might ring round some local florists...if I get my act together before the shops closed...

pcl sorry dude, I've not looked at the photos yet... my brain seems to keep skipping out on me atm...

Lw lol - no need for the threats... ;)

    Hi BZ,

I'd got my blood temp down only to have it soar again whilst watching an episode of True Blood on-line - bloomin Megavideo closes after 72 minutes leaving me stuck in the middle of Episode 6 . Of course they're not to know that their flippin' download failed meaning I had to re-start . So now I am forced to sit through Barcelona v Man U . I've put the alarm on my phone to alert me though.

Now as to your cottage - does it have to be in Scotland? It's just that we stayed in a beautiful cottage, just outside Glastonbury for our Silver Wedding anniversary and it was totally delightful. They do, or certainly did special honeymoon packages where they picked the couple up in a chauffeur driven classic car and arranged various special treats. When we arrived there was a cream tea waiting for us, fruit, wine and a bottle of Drambuie . The cottage is part of a terrace up a private road and it's been completely refurbished. The bedrooms are lovely and the kitchen is hand built with a dahlia carved into every door, complete with Aga and a small stained glass window in the lounge - also with a dahlia in it.

As to the Lyrica, I can't take that or Gabapentin - one increases my spine pain and the other alters my moods quite markedly. I am decreasing the Carbamazepine from 100g since the ones I got today can be split - hopefully this should stop the withdrawal symptoms until I see my GP. I too don't want to put any more weight on .

Sorry about the house Careful, I keep seeing you in one just a couple of streets away from the seaside ;). Then again maybe your nasty neighbours need to move :D.

Raeh - good luck with the hairdo - I've never ever had long hair, not even when I was a child, it just really gets on my nerves once it gets past my ears and that reminds me - I have to see my doc to get an ENT appt as the audiology woman said I won't be able to get my ears syringed after my eardrums perforated when I had pneumonia :o. Heaven knows how long that's going to take - but at least I've had the mold done for my left one and I can manage with the old one in the right for the time being. I just need to find an attachment for my MP3 player now .

Does anyone use those daily medication dispenser things and if so - is it possible to get an extra large one? I've started putting my supplements in the compartments of the one I have with my meds - but I can't get the tops on properly :o.

PCL those photos are just gorgeous - they really remind me of my time in the Gulf - the sand, sea and palm trees - one of these days I will get around to uploading them.

Only a few minutes more and I should be able to catch up with True Blood :D.

bz i would go for getting the extra pills prescribed, then they are on hand already. might also be worth trying the extra sooner rather than later, you might not get the appetite increase, but if you do you have time to decide if its worth it for the extra energy or not. that seems really expensive for flowers, good luck with sorting something out.

cwta good luck with the house today, thats a shame about the other one only being a room. i have been thinking about making a living will, shall investigate if that would override the act ruling re nearest relative.

raeh good luck with the hairdressers.

unity the gulf? id love to see those pics when you get round to getting them up. it is supposed to be beautiful too.

i slept for far too long last night a nd have a humdinger of a headache this morning. cba to do anything either, methinks headache is a good excuse to not, unless it goes away.
  • Unity I got an extra large pill dispenser type thingy - I think it was from Superdrug, Superdrug or Boots. I'll try to find out which one and let you know.

bz Sorry - forgot to say I agree that you should get the extra tabs and then decide whether you need to take them or not. If you don't get them, you don't have that option.

pcl Hope the headache fades soon and that you start to feel a bit better.

Looks like I have that time of the month coming on. That's twice this year?! I tend to feel really poorly when I'm on. Ah well, it doesn't last long.
    Have a good day all.

I'm the same CwtA and I never have a real period just like the last day of one iyswim or is that tmi!?!? I am starting to agree with consultant about just having it all out!

BZ, I'm sure it's really simple to dye flowers. I remember doing some experiment when I was young and I'm sure I just put the flower in dyed water. You can get really nice fake flowers nowadays though too. We have a place near me called Country Baskets and they sell some lovely ones.

    *waves at everyone*
    See ya, I'm poorlytired!

Oh dear, that sounds ominous :D
Good new is that I'm moving on 10th June. 3 bed house (£50 over my monthly budget, but I can save/earn that from somewhere), garden with shed, built in wardrobes in the two main bedrooms, quiet place on the edge of an estate with really nice countryside 1/2 mile away. Much nearer the coast than I am now (Unity :D) and owned and let out by a Police Officer! I think that mean mean I can trust her although that wasn't the case with my 1st ex-DH who was with the Met.
    I'm officially excited.
