Good girl BZ.
Unity don't worry, I have just this minute finished bundling up all our meds to take with us. An impressive collection it is, too! LOLIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Coming along pcl but it's so close I can almost taste it ant there's still FAR too much to do!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

bz My thanks button hasn't worked since the last upgrade - it tells me I'm not allowed to thank! Well done on phoning caterers - now pick up the phone and call florists *g*
Unity Flamin' annoying about the prescription. I have had problems before. The most annoyng thing for me is that they compound the mistake by keeping you waiting around and not addressing it with any urgency. Think "computer says no". My surgery has just gone onto ordering prescriptions on-line, so I'll see this time round if it makes things any more efficient.
pcl That's a fine mess to try to make heads or tails of. Is there anything like a Living Will that can cover Psychiatrict stuff? My Living Will has my ex-SIL as the nominated person to ensure my wishes are carried out (she my best friend) rather than a next of kin. Would CAB be able to give you any advice on this? Good luck with sorting it out.
I am going to continue with my lazy day, make a cup of tea and put my feet up for an hour or so before thinking about washing up. I wish I have some disposable plates *g*I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I've been a very good girl, but managed to do so without picking up the phone! I'm well sneaky and looked up ones who had websites on Yell.com and emailed 7 different places. So now I can sit back and feel a bit smug (and panicky!) whilst I wait to see whether any of them are willing to do anything with purple gerberas
The thing that is concerning me even more than the gerberas is my wedding ring, but we said we'd go to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and I may as well wait for my wheelchair (that I get next week) before we go... it's beginning to freak me out a little thinking that these things still need doing and I only have 15weeks left!!
I'm also considering whether to go back to the GP and get more Lyrica prescribed...I think my system's used to the level it's at now and the consultant did say I could take more, but I'm a bit put off by the appetite increase that some have said comes along with it - it's sort of the last thing I need before the wedding, self-esteem wise, but on the other hand if the reduction in noticeable symptoms means I can get more done for the wedding is it worth it....??
What does anybody think?

I would go ahead and get it prescribed, BZ, on the basis theat even if you have it to hand, it's you that finally decides to put it in your mouth.
Better to have it and not need to take it than to need it and not have it available (if that makes sense.)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
It does makes sense yeah lw...Means yet another appt with my Gp though and I'm not sure I cba tbh! lol
You're very chatty today...putting off packing perhaps?
I, in the meantime, am trying to dampen the growing sense of panic I feel about unmade wedding plans by being grumpy about the weather impeding my progress in painting the patio furniture..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
 I have 4 replies from my florist emails, but only one quoted any prices - the total for 1xbridal bouquet (£85:shocked:) 3xbridesmaid bouquets (£45:shocked:) and 12xbuttonholes (£4.50each ) is £274!!!
OH COME ON!! It shouldn't cost that much!!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Flamin Nora bz that is a lot! You'll have to see how that compares when the rest of the quotes. Have you thought about ordering the flowers and doing it yourself with simpele bouquets? You're obviously have enough crafty talent to do it, but do you have enough time and a high enough stress tolerance?!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0

Tell me about it Cwta! I would like to think that I/we would be able to do the flowers ourselves, but I don't know if it's worth the stress and worry...?
I'm trying not to do anything in the month before the wedding and the flowers are something that would have to be done like the day before....!

Wonder if you could ask one of the florists about feasibility of doing them a couple of days before, say with help of SIL and how you could store them?
Just had a thought - how about popping onto the Old Style or In Your Home board on here? You could ask about decent florists in your area and maybe even find someone who would do them?
HouseFairy just called - cottage next to her is a no-go. They only want to rent out one room so that they can still come down and use it as a holiday home. However, am seeing somewhere tomorrow pm that's empty at the moment although just over my budget, so if it's right, I may be able to negotiate.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
