Unity I think most, if not all of us, can relate to your frustration.
I have got into the habit of checking
a) the amount of items prescribed and
b) that the script is actually signed
before I leave the surgery.
I've had to sit and wait for silly amounts of time while they "correct" an error, too. And had a LOOOOONNNNNGGGG wait on one memorable occasion because they couldn't find the docket I had to sign before they'd give me my script for morphine. Total and utter SNAFU.
Makes you SOOOO mad, doesn't it?If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Thank goodness it's not just me then. Sorry
- in fact I am sure either CWTA or SE had the same problems more than once.
I trust you have your meds packed ready for tomorrow . Tbh the chemist nearly always manage to do the same sort of thing as the morphine patches have to be kept in the safe, so I often end up checking in the car and having to go back to remind them .
Is it just me or is the general level of competency degenerating at a remarkable level? When I was working these sort of 'mistakes' would have been a disciplinary matter, if they had occurred with such frequency .
I know they say: "The person who never made a mistake, never made anything" - but that's so untrue - they made a whole heap of work for others .Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

it gets even more confusing, nearest relative is different to next of kin and is only used in regards to mental health act. next of kin only comes into play when you die really and anyone can be named next of kin, its who you decide and there is no legal definition.
i suspect a lot of people dont realise that the mental health act defines it so strictly. they changed it a couple of years ago so that spouse/husband would also include partner or someone you have lived with for more than 6 months. i may discuss it with psychiatrist next week, justs to make sure they do still know i do not want my parents told anything and that they dont have contact details. i really dont know if the whole palavar of going to county court to change it is worth it, hopefully i will never be sectioned so it shouldnt matter at all but does just in case, and of course if i start askign psychiatrist he is going to ask toher questions i wont want to anser.
the more i hear here abpout gps the mmore i realise i am incredibly lucky in that mine are sensible, and have a website which even stores your prescriptions to make it easier to reorder them.
hope the screaming babies havent resulted in a headache unity, sorry they made you wait so long.
lw do have a great time, i cant remember if i remembered to say that yesterday or not.0 -

Where's the "Thank" button since the forum update? Am I the only one that can't see it today?
Tria that's an impressive list!
Unity I hope your blood temp has returned to normal now after boiling over at the docs
LW I was checking out cottages in Scotland (for the all illusive honeymoon destination) and getting quite excited about it so I really hope you have a good time and take lots of piccies!
Oh, and thanks for the Braveheart pics, that explains better than words! I can't even be @rsed with the furniture painting today, think I'll stick with my tele (which is now emitting sound again ) and t'internet (on my newly speeded up machine ) and some more cross-stitch perhaps. I might ring round some local florists...if I get my act together before the shops closed...
