raeh I sometimes wonder if I have S A D or if its just normal as I always feel really low when it's grey and raining too. I heard on the radio today that we are supposed to be having a nice summer, lets hope their right and it kicks in soon. You must be getting a week off soon for 1/2 term wont you ? maybe you should schedule yourself a bit of relaxation time in that busy life of yours.
lw dont worry, theres a lot of it around at the moment. take your time and come back when you feel up to it.
cwta I hope you had a nice lunch with your dad. I had to pretend not to be shocked by my dads lack of hair when I first saw him. We had a good natter and Im hoping to take g/d round to see him when I have her next week.
Ive kept going today despite the nagging pain in the right side of my back and now its spreading to all over my right side and getting worse. Im going to stay in tomorrow and do nothing which usually helps.
((((hugs)))) to all the mooky and bleugh people out thereReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Hello everyone
I've recently been diagnosed with FM but it's taken over 20 years to get the diagnosis. I've not been able to work for the last seven years (I've heaps of other health problems too, as if FM wasn't enough!).
Anyway, I've just found this thread so to save me forgetting about it I'm going to subscribe0 -
Hi Tiger, welcome to the thread. Glad you've found us.
OK Folks, it's my Birthday today and I've nothing planned, am not seeing anyone; what can I do to cheer meself up considering it's raining? If the weather brightens at all, I may take myself off to Perranporth for a walk bu it's not looking promising atm.
Hugs to all.

Morning All ,

Purple you are so kind remembering, it made me go all of a quiver to know people care. Now as you may or may not know he had a bowel polyp removed which went badly wrong. He was taken back into hospital yesterday to have the site tidied up and whilst the surgeon was doing this he turned to him and said "I might aswell do some weeding whilst I'm here" This has made us laugh just picturing what may of happened if he hadn't " weeded". Any way no bleeding this time and glad that's over well at least for 3 months.
Off for my first counceling setion this afternoon so feeling nervous I've had an awfull stomach ache since yesterday ,probably nerves, silly me.
Have a good day ,

cwta :bdaycake: Happy Birthday, maybe you could have a relaxing pamper day at home , have a lovely buble bath with candles , exfoliate, face mask or what ever you have to hand, paint nails etc, then curl up with a good book, or get a good film out and order a takeaway . No housework or packingwhatever you do, I hope you have a lovely day hun.
hassie Im glad your husbands ok now, the worry and stress of the last few months couldnt have done you much good. I would say yes, your stomach ache is a direct result of nerves, Im the same. You'll be fine, think positive, I hope it goes well.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Has anyone here been on a pain management course? I'm attending one at the moment, it's two afternoons a week. It's really been helpful to me and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who has chronic pain.0 -
