aww thats sweet lw, thank you.

i fail at making toasted sandwhiches. twice ive tried and twice ended up with a mess and bread stuck to the maker. maybe thats why it has been kept in its box on top of the cupboard instead of with my other appliances over the last couple of years.

mamatre if you read thorugh this thread form the start, and the first thread you will find a lot of stuff about fm included amongst the chatter and support and friendship on offer here.

... Have taken an extra Amy tonight, and earlier than usual, and completely overdone it (not just tackled the appts, but also gone for the xray, went to get little Buddy some eye ointment for his doggy conjuntivitis from the vet, gone to pick up DF and gone food shopping and fruitless blind shopping )...so hoping I'll sleep early, long, and deep!
    Wot's a fruitless blind?? :p

Oh, now that was lame! Even in the fall out of the Flinstones one, that was lame!! :p

Jo_King the pups to which I was referring are not technically puppies anymore, but Buddy (Jack Russel/Chihuahua x) is about 2yrs old now and looks like a puppy nearly all the time he's so cute. Molly is a terrier x who's about 4yrs old. They're my DF (Fianc!'s)/MiL2B's dogs but live mostly with MiL2B. I have pics somewhere if you're interested? Have you recovered from the horrors of the medical?

    LW that's a really cute pic! :D

Kass I'm pretty sure it's not Psoriasis as I've seen that on other people before and unlike Auntie Axe I don't get it in my ears or nape of the neck, just that one spot on my yed that spreads a little when I'm run down. I think actually I did get it once in my ears and the doc told me that I was cleaning them too often. Apparently if you do that then you are getting rid of all the natural oils that protect the ear canal and encourage the likes of ecsema. I tend to get a little titchy patch in the corners of my eyes in Summer, which is really annoying!

Dare I ask why you were too angry to post last night Kass?:o

Raeh I get itchy head, as I get itchy everything, and I think that is to do with the FM, and like you (if i've had my 5yr old niece around) get freaked out about the idea of it being nits! The particular bit I'm talking about feels different and dry all the time.
    Raeh wrote:
hmmm are you really sure about that?? and would you really have as much fun ;):p
    :rotfl:My thoughts exactly! :D

Seaside hope you get DS's car sorted asap. It's such a nuisance!

I was asleep at about 3.30am this morning (still improvement on 5.30am or later) but then I had a bad dream about 7ish (coincided with DF's alarms going off). It was quite violent and freaky so I was a bit too perturbed to go straight back to sleep and had some snacks and read a book instead (Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke if anyone's interested) til about 10am when I felt safe to nod off again. :o I only woke up again at like 4.45pm! No wonder I don't get to sleep til late (or at least that would be my "parental mentals";) theory). As such I don't have much to report for today...other that MiL2B drove me crazy last night and the stick nearly came into force once more...

PCL ditch the "toastie maker", put your toast in the toaster. Made it up like you would a normal butty, buttered inside with ham/cheese/whatever, put it on a plate and pop it in the mic for 20-30secs. Bish Bash Bosh, job's a goodun! Not quite the same, but near as dammit, without all the hassle!! :T

I had a look cwta and psoriasis is an auto-immune disease apparently. Sounds like it could link in nicely iykwim!

Thanks, I know I can vent at you lot but to be honest I'm with suep about feeling a bit pathetic when there is so much other much worse stuff going on.

I know I'm only feeling so reactive because I'm so tired and in pain and that is my own fault for coming off my meds so I can't complain. I haven't slept for two nights now and my neck and back are back to where they used to be in regards to pain. How can I moan when I wouldn't feel this bad if I was taking my meds? I can't do with people who moan about stuff but won't do anything about it so I can't be hypocritical and whinge myself. Saying that, I don't seem to be doing bad so far do I?

Hi Kass I've just PM'd you. I know what you mean about the pain and energy etc and it just got to the point where it wasn't worth it for me. I know you'll know when enough's enough, esp with having to think about the kids. Do I take it the doc told you you couldn't have your tabs at the same time?

Tis interesting about the psoriasis though...

Pcl, buy some toastie bags and do em in the toaster. I bought some and I've never looked back! ;):D

bz, I was angry because XOH is such a hypocrite. There was something that happened which brought us splitting up to a head. He is always going on about me telling my mates stuff about us (personally I think it's a bit of jealousy/insecurity that he doesn't have anyone close to confide in) then yesterday I had comments made to me by these two blokes. These comments showed that they obviously knew what had gone on and I knew who had told them, XOH's mate!

What I'm so annoyed about is the fact that if I do tell my friends something they would never spread it about like that so how dare he for all this time make me feel bad for telling my friends personal things! When all is said n done, I don't really care who know's things about me, I'm quite an open book like that but he isn't and it was him I was protecting from looking bad but he has told and made it into a big joke.

It's just all the hypocrisy that has infuriated me and was probably made worse by the fact he isn't here for me to shout at, though I did my best by phone :D

And, as I said, I probably wouldn't be this reactive and would have just shrugged it off whilst thinking what an idiot he is if I was feeling right and it's my own fault I'm not!!

  • kass, whether or not it's been your decision to come off your meds and so you have pain or not, it doesn't change the fact that you ARE in pain from the very reason that we are all here on this thread, so of course you can lean on us even if you choose call it whinging and moaning. ;)

Your XOH is being a typical bloke, but that doesn't help you really does it. You've got every reason to be angry, but perhaps this underlines the reasons you have
finally split? You'll know whether that's true or not.:o Anyhoo - hugs to ya gal!

bz, you've got it on yer yed?! Blimey. I didn't even know I had a yed.
    Where's yours? :D
