Some do and some do not. If you win a missale then FOS can ask that it be paid like this.

Your PPI element was 19.67%. Your part of the repayment that went towards the PPI was £64.51. You made 7 x 64.51 = £451.57. I would need a breakdown of the settlment to work out how much you paid at settlement towards the PPI and how much they gave as a rebate. I can have a go but more figures needed like how long it was over etc...

Have received notification from Lloyds that they are refunding half of my business overdraft insurance because of medical conditions that my business partner has. This is good will gesture and have not mentioned any interest etc. Will not accept until that is confirmed. Only took initial letter to Lloyds for the above response. comes to about 800 plus interest.

Yes they have accepted liability for BP half but not mine although I also had health issues so am going to remind them of that plus how much I am expecting, just to help them along.:D

    Barclays still have not paid:mad:

Lloyds with FOS got letter from Adjudicator about 4 months ago and nothing yet. This has now been two years. Have been told it is still ongoing so am going to write to them for an official update:think:

    Hi
I opened a complaint against the clydesdale in August 09 for a loan i took out in 2002 and was paid off in 2007 and they offered me £439 (interest only) i declined this and contacted the ombudsman
i recieved a letter from the ombudsmen last week which i have detailed below

I am pleased to let you know that following our involvement, Clydesdale Bank Plc has now agreed to make an offer to settle your client’s complaint in line with the approach that we take when we decide that a consumer has been mis-sold a PPI policy

i have signed the aggreement and posted it back to them the ombudsmen say i should receive my refund within 8 weeks
my question is will the bank again try delaying tactics or will they have to pay my refund in full
