I received a copy of my credit agreement today and I haven't ticked the box saying that I wanted PPI although this was charged to my account which thankfully is now paid off. Could anybody help me with the wording of a letter stating that I would like all my payments back, should I include figures on the letter etc, as I still have all my statements. Any help would be appreciated.0 -

Hello there
I would take a photocopy of your agreement and any statements that prove that you were still paying out for the PPI, to enclose with your letter.
You can of course use the template on the link below if you want to, or a as a guide.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
First of all refer to the letter template one to give you an idea.
In your case I would write something like this:
"I note on my agreement I have not opted or ticked to accept the Payment Protection Insurance, but have been charged for this, I have enclosed copies of my agreement and statements for your records.
I request that you refund me all of the PPI I have paid on the loan/credit card, plus the interest, also the 8% interest of what a court would award.
(Then refer back to the template letter in the above link).
I would not worry about writing the amounts down, but its handy that you do have the statements, where this can be worked out, and if they make an offer, you have these amounts to compare to.
Check out the above link and if you require any further help from there, please just yell, good luck.
I would also suggest that you post by recorded delivery as well, this is yourn proof of posting.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Advice please:
Bought a car.
£1500 deposit paid
£3500 as finance
Now, the finance supplied by Close Motor Finance was sold to me by the car dealer (small local dealer)
I wrote to Close...they told me to go to the garage that sold me the product so I wrote to the garage and they have told me they will do nothing.
Where do I go now? Back to Close Finance or send 2nd letter to garage?0 -

Hi
If your given the runaround, you can check with the FOS.
Give them a call on here:

Good luck, they should be able to check this out for you and also write to them on your behalf on request.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
