So everyone was blaming each other Di? What was the very last email you got and from who?
CLick who would have been responsible for the complaint dissolved so she went to Endeavour for the misselling. Endeavour would not take responsiblity and then she made a rebate complaint against the insurer. The insurer then said it was not responsible for the rebate as that was the only complaint made against the insurer.

The last email was when the FOS asked us to send the information back to them and we didn't ....., was going to take it another direction but withdrawn it due to reading lots of scary stuff on here as well.
    Dear

Thank you for your email, however, in order for me to pass this complaint to an assistant manager I will require the signed and completed complaint form along with copies of all relevant letters.

Please feel free to attach these to an email and I will print them off.

I cannot take any further action until the above information has been received.

    Kind Regards

I have just sent them an attached email to explain our situation of why we did not go back to them with personal reasons as well, and asked if they are willing to consider to help us, as this did not get anywhere the last time.
Also given them the ref number details, so hopefully they will still hold some info on their computer systems.

Not holding much hope though, but must try.;)

But I thought you knew of people that had taken the other direction and won. If I were you I would ask FOS now to look at the misselling as even if CLick were still "alive" (although they are so to speak but in another entitiy) they were still unregulated weren't they? This is how they are trying to make complaints against insurers for misselling. Your rebate one is perhaps too old now to continue perhaps? Also should and "could" you have gone (or go) to whoever was dealing with Click's debts etc??

This is for the rebate complaint then? You should have mentioned the misselling too perhaps? I bet you will have to complain again as they will definately need a final response from any business they are approaching. I made my rebate complaint against FP and then had to start all over again with the insurer. This is why they keep telling me my complaint is only "young". I say not and it was September I complained to FOS about the rebate although it was actually November FOS wrote to Lloyds.

Have that much going on in my mind with these now, can't think....., but yes I did bring that up about mis selling to the FOS, see what they have to say.;)

When I asked them to reconsider, I said this because its gone 6 months, but would like to start a brand new complaint in regards of the mis selling, as we were also mis sold the ppi with the business, but did only go for the rebate side of things the last time the FOS dealt with it - which did not get anywhere.

That is what you should have done in my eyes. I would ask them to write to whoever THEY say is responsible for it in that Click are no longer. It will be the insurer I think. FOS says on their site "if you are not sure who to make the complaint against we can help:rolleyes:"...
