Hi all,
Incipience you were right! (again!) I have just received an email from a company which will fight for mis-sold ppi's no win, no fee .... BrunelFranklin0 -

It helps in PPI especially when brokers are concerned because- Broker Receives Commission From Lender (Breach for not disclosing)
- Lender Recieved Commission from Insurer (Breach for not disclosing)
- Lender Pays Broker (Lender is party to brokers breach)
- Insurer Pays Lender (Insurer is party to lenders breach)

Marsh, if you want to fight it then I can refer you on to someone who can, and who are currently in cases with you know who.
Have a think about it.. there are other issues that exist with regards to how the contract was issued, and it could also be argued that the PPI was in fact part of a Multiple Agreement, as the loan was fixed sum unrestricted use and that the PPI was fixed sum restricted use.
This can be argued, and would mean the the PPI part was regulated by the CCA 1974..
PPI is but one issue, there are soooooooooooooooooo many more, that neither you or I could begin to argue.0 -

nee-naw I was going to use these but I did read a case of a couple and they were not offered the full amount of what was being claimed so the couple ended up going to FOS. They used this company
You will also pay them at least 30% from what you win, just a thought.:wave:0 -
HI ALL,
I AM GETTING SO FRUSTRATED WITH HFC, I SENT MY 1ST RECLAIM LETTER ON 26TH NOV 08 TO RECLAIM PPI ON A LOAN FROM 2003, I HAD 2 LETTERS FROM THEM 2ND & 29TH DEC 08 ADV LOOKING INTO MATTER, AND THE LAST FEW WEEK I CLD THEM AND THEY ADVISED WAITING FOR PAPERWORK FROM THE BRANCH.
JUST CALLED THEM TODAY AND SAY INFO IS ARCHIVED AND COULD TAKE ANOTHER MONTH:mad:
WHAT GETS ME IS THAT I MADE A CLAIM FOR SAME ON ANOTHER LOAN IN OCT 08 AND IT TOOK THEM JUST 5 WEEKS TO SETTLE FOR EXACT SAME THING.
COMPLAINT ADVISOR SAID ON THE LETTER I RECEIVED COULD GO TO FOS AND I REPLIED NOT HAD A LETTER SAYING THAT AND THAT IF I HAD THAT WOULD OF INCLUDED THEIR FINAL RESPONSE:rolleyes: . AND AS I HAVE NOT HAD A FINAL RESPONSE LETTER ARE UNABLE TO TAKE TO FOS.
DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD NOW THREATEN COURT PROCEEDINGS AS FOS ARE NOW TAKING SEVERAL MONTHS TO DEAL WITH COMPLAINTS.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS.

What did they tell you? I have had a long conversations just before christmas with BrunelFranklin, on an unrelated, well related but unrelated to my case..0 -

Also be wary of the costs though, I know of firms that will give you 100% of the claim should you win, and with no upfront fees.. true no win no fee, and lose no fee.
Lawyers are only able to claim expenses from the lenders, so some companies who do what you could do yourself have to charge you for it.
Before signing any contracts, PM me the details and I will have a look.0 -

Yeah Dreamer, unlike our wonderful people on here, they don't do it for nothing. To go this route would be to pass it onto someone else, but it's nothing that we can't do for ourselves and looking at it realistically, you are still going to have to supply info etc to them, which they will then charge 30%+. It's just that incipience has posted that it wouldn't be long until companies would be advertising fighting ppi's, and I was just confirming.;)0 -

Also if you change your mind after 14 days and decide you don't want to use them I think you may well have to pay some sort of fee.
You could do this yourself or pm petermb:wave:0 -

Dont threaten court unless you are willing to do it.
You have to be seen as being fair, simply write back to them and explain how long they have taken and request that they respond within Seven days, or that they issue you a final response to allow for legal proceedings to commence.
Dont say give me it or am gonna sue your !!! :-P0
