havn't posted for a while just been sat in the fos backlog with everyone else but today 7 months on got a call from them to say i have now been passed over to an adjudicator for my claim with firstplus would like to know how long it takes from here if anybody knows.
Well done on finally reaching an adjudicator, hopefully some one will be on shortly who has an idea, but in my view there is no hard or fast rule on the length of time an adjudicator takes.

  • Hi
I posted a few days ago on here regarding my claim with RBS and you helped me with my query thanks. Although I have not yet gone to FOS, I advised RBS PPI reclaim department I was going to. However, I have just received an answerphone message from the PPI reclaim department at RBS, who have advised me that my case in now in calculation and I will know an outcome by the end of the month. Does anyone know what this means and if it is a good sign? I'd love to hear if this has happened to anyone else with RBS.
    Thanks

Hi - How long ago did you first write to them? I sent my letter to them on 9th Jan - they wrote back with the caseworker dealing with your complaint is... on 19th - I called them last night to see how this was coming along - they said they were still waiting for info back from the branch - he said he hopes to write to me before the 8 wk deadline on 9th march - hopefully its good news like yours too

and a big hello to di who helped me so much in the early days.
  • So I've just sent off my first letter to lloyds to reclaim on my loan with a recoreded delivery letter. I take it this is now going to tale aleast 2 months before i hear anything back?

Anyway i was going through my other past cedit/ store cards and seen that i use to have both a TOPMAN & RIVER ISAND stores cards which i believe to be with GE capital.

Has GE have already been fined, i can claim but is there a certain time frame that these policy's where mis-sold?

Has anybody had any luck with GE CAPITAL store cards and reclaiming?

Any help would be great cheers Deano:hello:

Yes but I had to do Money claim on line for refund of charges.
They were fined but that does not mean that was the only time you were mis sold.

    Hi,
was hoping for some advice please.
I currently have two loans with Lloyds TSB which i have claimed my PPI on so i know i cannot attempt to claim the PPI back, but over the last seven years i have taken out PPI with several loans before re-financing each time. Would i be able to claim back the PPI off those loans or because i have claimed on my current loans, would that go against me??

    Hello

I suppose this will depend on your circumstances at the time when taking out your loans.

Do you still have all the paperwork/docs for these loans ?

But if you have reasons of why you believe you were mis sold on the ppi, I would go for trying to reclaim on them.;)

Give us a yell if you require any further help.

    Good luck.

    Hi Deano.

You can also check this out on the success thread next to this one, where they post of their successes with each company involved if you've not done so already.

But anything you feel you were mis sold I would try to reclaim anyway.;)
