Hi all havent posted for a wee while. Just writing with an update....

Abbey - complaint back with the FOS they are still adding interest every month to my account - am with a DMP and they are not playing ball.

BOS - complaint about the bank account - the FOS have written saying they are still investigating with them and will write backsoon.

BOS - PPI - again the fos have said they are appointing an adjudicator and will revert to me before the end of AUgust?

Black Horse - FOS letter saying they have now received reply from them and are looking at both sides?

Loans.c.o.uk/FP - still waiting on a reply to my letter they have until 26th July.....!

Also wrote more to BOS/Halifax for 3 loans I took out and have cleared. Also one to Direct Line again I have cleared this ages ago and finally about 4 with GE Capital to do with previous cars havent a clue if I had PPI on them all but will find out. So going to be busy am off next week on hols for a week but going into work Monday. My son caught chickenpox at the nursery last week so Iwas off Wednesday and part of Thursday to look after him- he is getting a bit better now but was really ill last week. Got alot of things to do next week. Just hope I am going to get some good news one day lol :)

    Hi Katkins,

A&L are everyone's favourite hit at the moment, and they're going to want to settle - expect a letter in around a months time.

    TBD.
My friend has her complaint with A&L. She sent her letter off 5weeks ago and so far she has not had a caseworker look at it

I think with everyone using the FOS more often than before they have been inundated with complaints and have probably never been busier. Here's hoping we all get somewhere soon I have beenwaiting nearly 5 months so not missing out on anything by waiting another 5 months lol:confused::confused::eek:

what a lovely morning here in sunny scotland the sun is shining and the washing is drying lol:rotfl:

Going to hang my next load out my son has decided to lie on the floor with all his duvet wrapped round him! He has chickenpox and its obviously more comfier on the floor lol

Hi beaniebabe dont know about anyone else but I take it as bad news its disgusting that our claims will have been with them for nearly 16 months at christmas and it is only a possiblity they will be sorted:mad: especially when they have been upheld by the FOS their position has changed in months

I must admit Dialysis I too feel this is bad news not good. I also have a feeling that they are just trying to shut us up. I am also in a position now where we are struggling to make the repayments on the picture loan as my husband in now off work for at least 12 weeks which means he will get basic sick pay.
We are managing to keep up the mortgage repayments though which is good.
I think I am also going to write to my MP. Never done it before but its worth a try! For what its worth I am going to speak with CAB to see if there is anything Picture can do if I fall behaind with any payments.
I hope you are ok, Take care. X
  • Good Morning,

I have recieved from Natwest credit cards a listing of my insurance payments over a 6 year period. I will be sending the letter template monday asking for mu money back as I feel it was mis-sold big time!! Has anyone had any luck with natwest credit cards?

I have asked Natwest for paperwork for loans taken out in 2002, 2003, 2004 which were paid off in 2006. I posted this request in May and ave still not heard anything. I wrote a leter of complaint two weeks ago sent by recorded post and have still not heard anything. I was paying 385 per month which was for a 15,000 loan. If I had paid it over the 5 year period it would have come to over 23,100. Does anyone think this loan had some steep PPi based on these figures?

We can't really tell without more figures, the 23100 may just be the interest on the 15000.

Thnaks for that, seems steep will be interested when the paperwork arrives what the amount is

I recently put a claim in to my OH's co-op loan account to reclaim the PPI

The 8 weeks runs out on Monday. What do I do on Monday if I receive no letter or anything from them?

    Thanks in advance :T

Hi I emailed my MP again in reply to Gumbi's previous post and he today has faxed the FSCS with my email and asked them to rush my complaint up due to my impending repossession. We are due to move into our council house in a couple of weeks and cannot afford to turn it down as it is in an area that is quite good. Our worry is if we turn this down we could end up in a bad area. So it looks like it is too late for a final reprieve for us. But lets hope that the input from our MP's will maybe rush the FSCS up a bit. who knows Hope you are all well Dialysis
hi dialysis, heres hoping everything works out for you , its about time you had a bit of good luck, got everything crossed for you xx

My second case went to the Adjudicator on the 1st July 09. Does any know the approximate time it take for the Adjudicator to do there inititial investigation?

My first one went to the Adjudicator but I didn't get notification of when just a letter sayibf he up-held my claim... and then as I explained before the company refuted the Adjudicators findings and is it now being investigated further.... And that is taking forever.:wall::wall::wall:

Hi Jadest, glad to hear its moving on.;)

The standard is about 6 weeks, anything more is because the business has possibly requested for extra time to submit further information.

This can vary, from one company to another.

But keep in touch every other week, with maybe a quick email, they do not tend to send letters out to inform you all the time now, as I expect they have that many to deal with, its a time consuming issue as well, but an there is no harm done in emailing now and again, then they can keep you up to date this way, good luck and hope you hear soon with some good news.;)

Also only to say, if things start to get rather complicated and complexed, your case may also have to be moved on again, but this is procedure, for instance if the business does not respond within that timescale.

Hope this helps, all the best X
