    Hi di3004,

Thanks for the welcome. Wow, you were fast with your reply, thank you. I’ve just taken a quick look at the link you’ve posted; I’ll go through it all now and get the letter sorted out to hopefully post tomorrow. All I’ve done so far is send off the SAR and read and I’m exhausted already lol.

    Thanks again for your help!

I was told by an adjudicator some months back (when I finally managed to speak to him!) that he couldn't return my phone calls because he was away from his desk training new staff! I've been told again this week that the FOS have taken on more staff but at the moment they have over 24,000 cases to deal with!! (See my post #4923 p 427). I'm now heading for month 18 waiting for a final decision, the adjudicator having already found in my favour and recommending I be paid out by Loans.co.uk.

I posted a letter to the FOS today outlining my concerns that I was told when I rang yesterday that my case is waiting to be passed to an adjudicator - it has already been through the adjudicator who was passing it to the Ombudsman last June/July!!!! When I thought about the conversation I had yesterday I wondered whether my case has actually gone back into the pile to be passed to an adjudicator and not the Ombudsman as I was told back in June 2008. I know they're busy but blimey............................................

If I remember correctly we were talking about something like this last year, can you remember Marshallka, was it this subject we were talking about?
And then we did hear that they taken more adjudicators on.

Have you all noticed though, it seems that suddenly they pick up and lots of cases through the FOS are being dealt with, going by the success on the success thread a while back, then suddenly its a slowdown.

Wonder if there is any sort of petition for things like this, for more staff???

My friend has rang A and L and they have said she should have a response by the 24th of July which is 8 weeks since she sent in the letter.

    Hi there

Hopefully someone will be along soon to help in this matter.

I take it you signed to have this dealt with by the solicitor, your ex employer?

Not too certain on this actual matter but someone should post soon, good luck with this.;)

If you don't mind me asking though, what are your reasons for being mis sold?

Thanks, I did sign to have this dealt with by my exboss. The only reason why I signed up was because he was starting up doing this and said if any staff had loans that had PPI attached he would probably be able to get some/all of it revoked. I dont know what reasons he is going to use, something was mentioned in general (not just my case) about if parts of the agreement dont mention certain things/are incorrect? Sorry for being so vague.
Spare change tin in force this year!
    NRAM PPI : £6022.56 - WIN! :j
    LLOYDS PPI : £4684.66 - WIN! :j
My Pearl of Wisdom : Don't be scared to say "I can't afford it", or "I'm skint" to anything... If you're lucky, you'll still be able to do what you want, just find a different way -and if you can't, you don't need it anyway! :p

    Hi there

Well I do hope this gets sorted out.

If your not happy with the way its being dealt with ask if there is a way you can withdraw your case, and you will deal with this matter yourself, we can help you in regards of ppi if you were mis sold for any reason.
Obviously I would make sure you would not have to pay out as well with your ex boss.

I don't actually know how it works, because of dealing with these myself with help from on here and other sites, with free templates etc, if you want to go this direction, we can try to help, it will just be a case of paying out for a few stamps and if your successful the whole lot of refund will be yours.;)

I wish you the very best of luck.

    Hi Ellbee

    Hope your well.:A

    Golly so your still waiting??

Strange that, considering its supposed to have already been with an adjudicator......., you would think if there were some issues they would have kept you informed if it had to be moved on again.
I know they are run off their feet, but as you have already waited a very long time, it would be nice for them just to keep you reassured about this.

Well I do hope they sort this out soon, good luck hun, hope you and your family are well.;)XXXX
