Hi there
Did their letter also state you can still continue to go to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).
I would go to the FOS and if LLoyds get in touch in the meantime, and its a favourable response, you can then let the FOS know.;)
yes it did, do l write to tsb to let them know l'm going to fos.
and thanks for quick reply0 -

If you want to wait a little longer, give them your own timescale say for example 14 days, then maybe go to the FOS, but as you have the right to go ahead now you can of course do so on your own free will.
You can write to Lloyds TSB to confirm you have gone to the FOS if you decide to want to go this direction now and if you want to also enclose a copy of the complaints form for their interest and records.
I was reading the other day that someone else done the same, this way, and made Lloyds TSB aware and then Lloyds still made them an offer.
So there is no harm in doing this.
You can either download a complaints form from the link I posted to you, or ring them to arrange to send you one through the post.
Remember as well to enclose a copy of the corresponsence from LLoyds TSB.;)
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

So I take it then you posted this one as well by recorded delivery and checked it out on tracking on the royal mail website?
If this is the case and you know they definately received this, go to the FOS, as the 8 weeks have passed, even if you hear nothing by 8 weeks you can still go to the FOS.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Pammie
I would definately check on this one, because they said this it does not mean anything.
You may still have your own reasons, so if this is the case then write back and tell them you stand your ground and you were mis sold because of "your reasons" if you had reasons for this other than them being fined.
There are many reasons.;)
Check on this thread here on the check list.

Hi All,
Can anybody give me some advice please? I’ve read so much info about reclaiming ppi that my head is spinning.
I’ve been paying for payment protection cover on my Lloyds TSB credit card since I signed up in 2002. The thing is, I’m registered disabled / unemployed and only just realised that the policy is useless. Anyway, I sent off a SAR, which I received this week and it contains my credit card agreement, the No box next to the ppc is ticked!
What I’d like to know is, can I ask for interest on top of the ppc? They’ve been bleeding me dry with their interest, so I’d like to do the same! I’ve worked out how much I’ve paid from the statements they sent me but there’s some missing. I signed the contract in October 02 and the statements start May 03.
Can anyone help before my head explodes?0 -

Hi and welcome.;)
You do have a good case here so now its time to get reclaiming.
I was mis sold a credit card ppi from lloyds tsb as well in 2001.
You do have good reasons here.
Here is more information on the link below for reclaiming with templates, but try to use your own words if you can with obviously the reasons you have.
They have 8 weeks to respond.

With my experience of Lloyds they do tend to take time with these complaints, but keep on at them until they resolve your complaint in your favour, or until you receive the response which confirms you can go to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).
They may try fobbing you off, for example, "you are still covered by life cover, hospitalisation and job solutions", this is a standard fob off response.
But do not let this stop you, because its worthless to you and why pay for a full cover for something that you are unable to claim on for everything.
Post all letters by recorded delivery.
You do not require the figures to add to the letter, although the figures may come in handy later on.;)
But if you decided to take this to the FOS, if not successful directly with lloyds, the FOS will make sure you receive everything you are owed, with the interest as well, plus 8% interest of what a court would award.
Good luck with this, please let us know how you get on and ask for help when required. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
