Me too but is it called fast tracking or being fobbed off?
I was asked if we could afford our mortgage and to tell you the truth we can but only by going into the overdraft to do this. It stinks.

They would not want to know we had £675 of vets bills and the cambelt on the car though.

Yes your right Marshallka, I would love to find that one out as well.;)
Can you imagine all the interest on that.

I was also told that someone had written on one of these sites (so they must read them) that "barclays" had the most cases against them and it was untrue. I don't know why he told me that one. My complaint is about the society of lloyds. He said not to believe what you read on here lol.

    Hi dialysis.:A

If they take on more staff, this is what they do really need to do, I'm sure by them doing this - it will not be too much of a strain, and am aware these cases are getting higher by the year, very extortionate, so more staff is defo what they need to take the pressure off.

It does make you think though doesn't it?

What else can we do about these people keeping our money and causing this distress, anyone got any ideas of what we can do together, who we write to, to complain about the treatment we have received? there must be something else we can do? Any ideas?

I wondered about the FSA although what can they do.. we that are making payments are often using more credit to do this. I realise that these complaints are sometimes not rock solid but it seems unfair to be getting into debt for another year and then getting money back and having to pay half of it on the interest we have been charged on the debt. I am getting blummin annoyed again now. I sent my complaint in April last year but against the wrong one. It went before an adjudicator twice and then eventually after speaking to a FOS manager they said it had to be against the actual insurer. This took them 6 months to tell me and although it was not their job to do this I thought they could at least help. It says on their site "if you don't know who to make the complaint against then give us a call and we can help". They then wrote to the insurer on my behalf and its been since October last year that they keep saying "it will be soon". I have complained that this complaint of unfair rebate has been with them now over 12 months. They say different and its only october they wrote. I suppose they are right really but it still annoys me. I just hope its worth it in the end.

If I remember correctly we were talking about something like this last year, can you remember Marshallka, was it this subject we were talking about?
And then we did hear that they taken more adjudicators on.

Have you all noticed though, it seems that suddenly they pick up and lots of cases through the FOS are being dealt with, going by the success on the success thread a while back, then suddenly its a slowdown.

Wonder if there is any sort of petition for things like this, for more staff???

Just emailed the FOS with a copy of bank statement showing we are going overdrawn to pay our mortgage now so see whether that jogs them on. I have stated that although we are paying it we are by using credit as we have had numerous unexpected bill the last few months. We only pay interest too. I doubt it will do anything though but at least its made me feel better.

    Hi All, Just recieved a letter off Blackhorse. ;

As detailed in the terms and conditions provided to you when you took out your policy, the rebate which would be given in the event of early cancellation was based on a sliding scale as the potential amount payable under a successful claim would be greater at the begining of the loan. However, whilst we do not accept that the policy was mis-sold, as a gesture of goodwill, we are prepared to offer you a more favourable rebate which will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

we will calculate the amount of your rebate on a pro-rata basis if you do decide to cancel your policy early, meaning it will be calculated on the actual amount of time you will have had the policy.

Should you wish to cancel your policy within the next 14 days we would expect you to recieve a rebate of approximatly £5,197.23 using the proportionate basis we are prepared to offer. if you do cancel your policy, your repayments will be £168.56 for the remainder of the agreement term.

Now whilst i appreciate their offer, i telephoned them to clarify how much the cheque would be,before i signed the acceptance letter, they said that i would not be recieving a cheque, but this would come off the total cost of the loan outstanding.
i have looked at my paperwork, and i pay £92 per month for the ppi, so they are basically saying that i will not get any money back, however the cost of paying back will reduce by only £79 !!

i would like to have all monies paid into the ppi plus interest back as this would really help at the moment but they are refusing that.

what do you guys think i need to do now?

any answers will be really helpfull

    thanks
