The ironic thing is that they rebutted the CCA issue as being something they would deal with until I wrote to the OFT and they said, "Send it to the FOS as they deal with complaints over CCA compliance". The FOS then changed their mind and said, "You're right, we can deal with it" And then rejected my complaint 8 months later! :rotfl:Surprise surprise.
I'll give them a chance to reconsider this resending the info I have, but if they knock back my complaint again, I'll be complaining about the FOS themselves. They've handled this abysmally and will certainly take this to whomever possible to complain the dismal quality of service provided by them. Muppets.
Oh golly where did my 41st go then ?:o lmao :rotfl:
Good luck bathgatebuyer, Only ONE more chance though, then go and get em otherwise.
I wish you all the luck in the world.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I have seen the 'Paperwork Request' template but that has blank spaces for account number(s) which I don't know and states that a reply is expected within 40 days, and not the 12 as quoted above. Is that the one to use, and if so should I amend 40 ays to 12, and omit my account number?
Just one more twist (nothing is ever straightforward with me!!), I have moved house since I had the loans. Should I provide the address that I was at when I took the loans out somewhere on the letter as there could be numerous people with the same name as me applying???
Thanks again
Kev
Hi Kev
If you are jusst requesting copies of your agreements it is 12 day. This is why I am saying ring and ask them they can be helpful:rolleyes: Especially if the Loans are linked. If you send a SR request in then it is 40 days. Even thought you are sending in the SAR you have still logged the complaint so you should be covered.
Give them all previous names, addresses etc give them your date of birth as well. This will all come up on their database.
Di can you add anything else.:mad:0 -

Di,
Yes you did respond to an earlier post, I was just a bit confused about the fact that the template for paperwork requests said 40 days but you'd said 12. Not to worry. I'll see if I can get anyone at RBS to talk to on Tuesday. I will get request letters for both agreements ad SAR ready to send off and see what they say before I send anything off.
I did reclaim my bank charges back from RBS just before they suspended paying out. Got about £7,000 back from them for 2 accounts charges, but they never sent the statements for a third account so this one is in the queue waiting for the court's decisions and appeals etc, etc....
Anyways, I'd just like to thank everyone for their help, and I'll keep you all posted with how it goes.
Thanks again all

Hi Kev, good luck for Tuesday.
It is 40 days for a full SAR Request.
12 days for just requesting the copies of Credit Agreements Requests only.
These are 2 different requests.
Sorry to confuse matters.
Please keep us posted and we wish you the best of luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
