    Hi there

I don't think FP have, but know the FOS have many complaints to deal with in regards of this company.

I agree with you amersall, FP are not exactly the best of companies, they have complaints in more ways than one to what I know of.

hi di, i feel so sorry for people who got mixed up with these in the first place, the ppi is not affordable and this high payment has been one of the causes of people getting into arrears, some will have even lost houses because of this

Great site everyone! (Hope this makes sense)
Last year i sent a letter to Welcome Finance and got a fob off letter saying my word against theirs etc. I sent a reply a little over 8 weeks ago (I didnt reply sooner for personal reasons) but I included what I believe to be "evidence" and so this could be taken as a fresh complaint (recorded del) as they missold me normal ppi plus healthcare (which was same thing) and then same lot again when i had a top loan but forced me to take medicare insurance this time claiming loan would only be accepted if i took both lots of insurance. After a good read through the paperwork I found a few little niggles and differences that I marked up in the letter - as they wanted "evidence" of misselling.
Anyway, with not having even an acknowledgement letter off them I bit the bullet and rang them just now and said i've sent a letter no reply can you confirm someone is dealing with it please. She took my postcode said no trace of letter sorry, i said thats funny I sent it recorded delivery and I've got a signature, she told me to fax the letter through (which I'm doing on Monday morning) when I asked who's attention shall i mark it to she said just address it to the PPI Team - hmmm I never mentioned anything about the subject of the letter interesting. Will let u know how I get on.
Sorry if its a bit longwinded, good luck to everyone out there.

Good one :T, yes keep on at them, don't back down if they try fobbing you off with their standard "go away" responses, I'm sure it will all soon sort out.
    Fingers crossed.;)

i would love the address for HFC - will give them a go. i sent my initial letter to Dunfermline but for some reason it was forwarded to Halifax. when i rang marbles yesterday the guy gave me an address in Birmingham, and have sent a letter off to there today following rosemahairy's advice. It all seems very confusing to me to be honest so we'll wait and see. thanks for your help everyone.
