  • I am currently awaiting a response from Lloyds re PPi claim on Credit Card. This account is with Credit Security and I currently pay £20pm. I was wondering if I were to make Credit Security an offer to settle, could Lloyds come back and request the remaining balance. Or would the redress (if they do redress my claim) then come straight to myself in full??

YES DO IT, the more pressure we can put on the CEO's the better, mind you Osorio CEO of Lloyds seems to be in hibernation at the moment

Just had a call from my very nice handler. Apparently she said that what was in the article was not a direct quote from Lloyds and that they still cant give any timescales but that when i am calculated she will ring to tell me. Apparently it is just an opinion from MSE. Having a rubbish morning anyway and that has just nailed it for me today.

"Martin Lewis, MoneySavingExpert.com creator, says: "Banks claim they want to rebuild trust – it's about time they started being trustworthy."

And the way to get the trust back is SACK the plebs like this woman who is employed by Lloyds and treating customers as idiots

    Morning people!!:j:j

How is everybody?...:):) Good luck to all winnners & triers!!:j:j

Hubby finally got paid out from Natwest yesterday!!!!!:money::money:, however, there was £300 missing..when hubby rang up this morning, they stated that it was the tax that should be paid on the refund??

I thought it was up to the person to pay the tax yourself not the bank paying it out of your refund before you have even got it!.....and to add insult to injury..he has waited over 3.5 months for the cash and there was no extra interest on there either!!:cool:

He was told he would have to wait until the break down figures arrive to confirm this ....jeez, by the time we pay the cmc (I know... this was in jan 2010) we will have pittance left!! HELPPPP!!:money::money:xx

Thats a lot of tax ??? Not certain if they are allowed to do that, it is not interest on savings where they do pay the tax, it is refund

With your CMC, did they get you the refund or did you do it yourself ?
