YES DO IT, the more pressure we can put on the CEO's the better, mind you Osorio CEO of Lloyds seems to be in hibernation at the moment

well after my last email to him i got a call the very next day from my handler giving me her direct line. have thought about it and have decided to email him now referring him to that story rather than waiting to ring handler tomorrow. will see what he or his minions will do next.

  • My letter with my offer from Lloyds says that the interest is calculated up to today. As they still haven't paid me, they owe me more money as far as I'm concerned. Will be closing my accounts with them as soon as I get the money as I'm pretty outraged at their !!!!-poor service.

Sent an email saying as much
  • Hi Everyone

I successfully reclaimed £934 from Halifax in relation to my credit card. I had a second claim in against my loan and today I received a pack for a replacement loan without PPI.

My original loan was for £15,000 over 7 years this new loan is for approx £8,000 over the remaining 39 months. The difference in the monthly payments is about £30.

I'm confused though because they haven't acknowledge my claim as being successful so should I be expecting a letter and hopefully cheque re PPI already paid or is the repayment factored into my new loan argreement.

Their offices closed at 6pm so I'm going to phone in the morning but I thought it was worth checking on here to see if anyone had had a similar experience.

Also my loan repayments are ticking along nicely am I within my rights to ask for the money to be repaid in a lump sum?

Make sure you ring them at exactly 15 seconds to 8am and you should get through straight away otherwise you will be in a queue forever and ever.

Sounds as if they have revamped the loan using the mis-sold PPI payments, the question is, did you ask or agree to the loan changing ?

You currently have an agreement for the loan and without a signed document from you, they will be in breach of your contract

If this is the case, they are saving the re-payment on the PPI and this is costing them only £30 a month. A SLY MOVE ??

You are under no obligation to accept this. Write to them saying you do not accept and require your PPI payments refunded plus interest

Again this is Halifax / Lloyds Banking Group

If they did this with everyone, it gives Lloyds a credit facility to repay PPI's over a period of months. Doubtful they would pass the Experian/Equifax system, they have currently defaulted on so many repayments

It still rather suggests that the Lloyds Banking Group is hard up for cash
Only time will tell, so people be wise where you put your money
