Just a quick query to any one who has had First Plus complaints. Rang them today to check on my complaint raised at beginning of July not had any updates since the the 7th July. They are now doing callbacks - the guy who rang me back an hour later said they had sent me a demands and needs form to fill in (have not recieved it) a week ago - is this normal - on my other claim they just sent the questionaire from the FOS. They have till 25th Oct till 16 weeks are up. Just wondering what this demands and needs form is - its a settled loan from 2005 by the way? Any suggestions or anyone else had one of these forms?

Hi there,this sounds like they want to know what position you were in when you got the loan re insurance.life ins and sickpay etc.

You are the first who has posted who has been asked for this,it may just be because of the year,wait and see when you get it.

Yeah as i mentioned the guy from FP didnt seem to know if he was coming or going - couldnt find any details of the complaint at all to begin with even though i gave him the loan ref and the complaint ref.

Hi marcus i think half the problem is that there are too many people at these banks handling the same complaints and things are getting confused.

yeah very true - only rang to ask why my current loan payment has only gone down by £15 rather than 38 per month (i have had the ppi cheque for this one) and thought i would ask about the other older loan from 2005 whilst on the phone

Another 2 loan ppi mid 90's upheld folks, letter from Lloyds on the way, just thought I would let you know. :beer::beer:

I'm bloomin' angry that Barclays are asking their customers to sign an acceptance for estimated offers. After my first offer I was told someone would be in touch within a couple of weeks with my final offer to accept, what I originally thought was my final offer was infact (after reading the letter again later after returning the acceptance form) another estimate.

So beware when signing acceptance forms that the offer you're accepting is a final offer and not an estimated offer!

Hi Jobhunter - I am getting the same run around by this lot as well.
Signed and returnrd my acceptance form 3-9-2011 but still nothing and they cant tell me when.

If you donrt mind me asking - how long did it take for the money to be credited to your account (albeit the wrong amount)?

Hi Matty, I signed and returned my acceptance form on 27-9-11 I rang them on Monday to check they'd received it and was told they'd received it on 29-9-11 and to expect payment within 7-10 days. Payment (albeit wrong amount) went into my account yesterday 6-10-11.

Sorry if already posted, but I hace an egg credit card that I'm sure I was misold PPI, has anyway found a contact address I can send a SAR request.
