Hi,
You may remember that I got a letter fom Funding corp stating that they didn't think my policy was missold, but if I was unhappy I could get back to them. I phoned and stated I was unhappy with response and sent SAR to them.
A few days after SAR info sent to me, they sent me a final response letter. You would think that as I had verbally informed them that I would be taking it further and the SAR, they would have delayed final response letter.
I emailed them on the 16th Sept to redress misselling points and raise new points of misselling. I have received no correspondence from them, so decided to phone today.
Not really about complaint, but why I had acknowledgement of email.
Anyway, I was then told they are not obliged to respond as complaint has been closed, I stated that I had raised new complaints and they told me that they would not be investigating this as they had issued their final response.
Is this right?
thanks
Hi irnbru if you have new issues they should be addressed, threaten the funding corp with contacting the fsa and see what they come back with, i have had ongoing issues with LTSB for 4 months but never had a final response i had high hopes of sorting it without the ombudsman, now i've sarred them and managed to get some account numbers, i'm now going to submit the same complaints on fos questionaires, there just trying to throw you off the scent stick with it.0 -

Hi
Has anyone come across my situation?
i have had my credit card 16 years up to now,i requested my agreement which was ticked for no ppi, so i made a claim
the complaint was upheld, ppi premiums plus associated interest
£3,206.00 plus 8% interest of £1.60 ?
this has been applied to my account already, it was not an offer
of course i am happy to recieve the money, but,i am sure i paid more ppi premiums over 16 years, i am not sure how they worked out the £1.60 8% interest either, i have not been asked to sign a disclaimer which i know others have, also i thought they would give me a breakdown of my ppi payments over the years, but they now say they will not enter into any further correspondence unless instucted by the fos.
it sounds to me they want me to take this further with the fos
am i right or wrong to think this
any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated0 -

Hi there
First of all well done on your success!
I would ask if you've not done so yet, for a calculated breakdown of how they come to the amount, you have the right for these details, meanwhile hopefully someone will be along soon to check this over for you, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
