If it is a loan,is it still running?,if it is,post the loan amount and ppi amount and the ppi monthly amount, the duration of the loan and start date, someone will take a look at this for you.
If it is a cc then if you have proof you paid more ppi than they have given you back, send proof of ppi paid for the years they have not paid you.0 -
Hi,
Ive had a response to my SAR from Santander saying they have no records for me as my account was redeemed in 2003 (mortgage). I am fairly sure i would have had ppi if they offered it to me as I wasnt very clued up back then. How do i reclaim without my statements??
Thanks0 -

You could telephone and they may take your claim over the phone.0 -

This may be hard,as you dont know what ppi may have been on the mortgage,if any.
If the SAR failed,i dont know how you would find this out to be honest.
Do you have no paperwork at all regarding this mortgage,a old statement from the bank you paid the direct debit from? as this may have the account number.?.
Other posters may be able to help you more with this so hang on.0 -
Hi there.what were the reasons for mis sell that you gave and what reasons did they give for rejecting this?.eirelav1962 wrote: »hi all had a loan with ge money in 2003 paid 663 ppi had my claim reject any help would be great0 -
Hi there, you both need to put the claim in ASAP,the total ppi, if you win, will be taken off the balance and if it is still being paid, the monthly payment will reduce by the ppi amount. you will both get back the ppi paid to date with interest, you could take this off the loan and further reducing it ,so this is good for both of you financially.Look here for reasons for mis sellallofushere wrote: »I an i the middle of a messy split from my ex partner. We have a joint secured loan with Black Horse. I called them today for a settlement figure for this loan and was told that £4.5 of the settlement was nade up of ppi. Firsly I had no idea we had taken ppi and secondly, my ex was self employed. I tought that ppi was useless to self employed people? I dont have the original paperwork, he does unfortunately but does anyone think we can make a claim? Also, if we do do we both have to sign the claim as its a joint loan? Communication between us is now via solicitors but if we could successfully claim by cooperating it would be worth a quick chat. Any advice welcome.

On a cautious note, get it in writing that you are both making this claim and how the refund will be used,he could get a cheque and pocket the whole lot.0 -
They may not have the data from that far back, your agreement is no help really,as you could have cancelled the ppi any time from 1998 and then reinstated it,they would need you to send proof that you paid ppi before the date that they are refunding to.And surely it is up tp Tesco to provide this information, they must have it on record when I was paying PPI? If it was taken out at the time of application then this proves somewhat that I have been paying since 1998?,0 -
Hi there, what year was this?.Thanks I have just checked companies house, London Scottish Finance Limited are in administration, is there any chance on this?
If it was post 2005,then give FSCS a ring and ask if you can claim through them.
If it was pre 2005,then ask what you can do regarding the insurer.
They may refer you to FOS.
