Well Done to everyone that has had good news. :j

I have got a good feeling about this week. Lloyds customers (including me) are going to get upheld letters this week.

I'm having a positive attitude now, because i have started to drive myself mad with it all.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I dont know how people do it with 4/5 claims, just the 1 claim has stressed me out.

Anyway good luck to everyone still waiting. :)
    ;) You are right ;)

    Afternoon all, opinions please.

The situation so far:- I put in a CC PPI mis-sell complaint to MBNA (amongst others) in may and they acknowledged receipt of it and said they had 8 weeks. They then asked for an additional 21 days, which is up today, but the postman didn't bring anything this morning. I've just rung the "Customer Advocate Office" who said they were awaiting paperwork in regards to the PPI.

Is the fact that they are still awaiting paperwork a good sign or just that they are being inefficient (fancy that an inefficient bank!) or would an email to the CEO be an idea to give them a boot up the backside. If this is the case can you let me know the email address for him.

Thanks for all the common sense that this site brings to us - it is keeping me relatively sane

    Hiya

Hopefully it means good news, so fingers crossed, but there is no harm in also emailing the CEO as well if you feel you're not getting anywhere, good luck. ;)

    Hi Mandy1cat,

I hope you get somewhere with them. I am also waiting for Natwest. My acceptance form received by them on 2/8/11. Your 28 days may be on or around 26 August. My 28 days will be up on 10 September. Hope 28 days means on or before!
