    Hi all,

Egg have been a bit cheeky and upheld one complaint and rejected the other.

    they write,

I would like to assure you that i have carried out a full review of your account and all our records indicate that there have been no ppi premiums charged to your account with the last 6 years.

It is the policy of egg not to refund any charges that were applied more than six years prior to the date of your complaint. Therefore, in line with this fact your complaint has been rejected.

so were do i go from here? i only became aware of ppi misselling this year, are they correct in the 6 year no chance cut off date?

    loan details:

took out 25/8/1999 paid off 10/8/2000

    total amount loaned £17,661.00
    total ppi premiuns charged £2,600.61

all help is greatly appreciated :D:p:D

    Hiya hon

    Is this the final decision?
If not then write back and tell them you have the details and its only recently you became aware of the mis selling, and the time barring does not stand in this case, I would also tell them you are aware that others have made successful reclaims with the same reasons and on accounts taken out around and even before that time.

    Did they mention the FOS?x

they mentioned the FOS and a booklet but didnt state its their finale decision but tried to pull the wool over my eyes and rolled both complaints into one letter and tried to say it was a refund on both but isnt nor was it a top up! but on this settlement letter they state finale decision. hope that makes sense, just trying to find a legal reason on this 6 year joke x lol xxx
