PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

The FSA are on the back of these reclaiming companies, revoking licences so you would be wise to stay away from them.
HOWEVER if a company came to me, be it solicitors etc and said they would handle FRAUD COMPLAINTS and compensation due to that fraud, I would seriously listen. However, I do not think any of these companies have the guts, I maybe wrong, there possibly is a firm of lawyers around who may like the opportunity to make a lot of moneyWHO COMMITTED FRAUD ?

Got a bog standard letter today saying that Natwest had until 31st August to process my complaint. Although today i have had two credits to my loan account, one for £130 and one for £503.
I called up and got told one was the PPI premium and the other interest, as I'd cancelled the policy.
Although I have not heard anything in writing from them on this. Does this sound like good news is just around the corner?
Incidentally I called last Monday and told my claims were still waiting to go to a case officer, although way the guy was talking I had already got a settlement. telling me the bank will look after me and give me a "bit extra"??
I've only been waiting since last August hey.0 -
Mine was very quick for a loan taken out in 98 but that was 18 months ago, they may be quick as they have not had many complaints?.
See when you get the next letter.
my reasons for mis-sale are the same though numerous hospital admissions for long standing health problem and a nhs employee so full sick pay. and i did make a note on questionaire that i realised it was an old loan and i hoped yorkshire bank would still consider refund as lloyds tsb had, cheeky i know;)0 -
