Crap day otherwise - panic attack, hospital and just decided that the stress of buying and selling a house is really not for me. Will lose a reservation fee for the new place (£500 - just less than what Egg refunded me  ), but I've been reminded by family and friends that money is not worth losing your health for.
I am so calm about everything else in life, but money almost always brings out a breakdown in me. I literally can't cope with any uncertainty about cash. I really thought I was over all of this a few years ago - I don't think it ever leaves you.
Hi BGB
I am sorry to hear of your panic attack not pleasant at all, had them myself yrs back and your right don't think they ever leave you.
Hope EGG have their wires crossed here and wish you so much luck with this:A:wave:0 -

Thanks, for your advice.
I have notice that I do not have a breakdown of my loan. I mean exact PPI amount. Can I request a letter for it?
Another thing. You think that I should wait I mean not call them, but just write a letter and wait for a respond. But this means that I still would be paying extra for PPI.
Many thanks.

Hi everybody, I have been made an offer on a PPI reclaim but please can someone help me determine what I ought to be receiving from the following:
15K loan 8.4% APR taken out in 04/2005
Single premium PPI £3009.54 plus £663.06 interest added at start of loan
11 PPI payments of £61.21 were made
loan was settled early in May 2006
Insurance premium rebate of £2014.58 was received on early settlement
In summary I have been offered:
Monthly premiums refund £673.31
Rebate adjustment £637.21
Interest on total refund £336.97
Total refund £1647.49
I think my refund should be closer to £2300, can anybody help me out?0 -

Hi hun
And yes please do ask them for the full breakdown of this.;)
You can still write to them hun to try and reclaim, and I am hoping that someone will post in about the cancellation side of things, although you can still ring them just to ask them about this, there is no harm in doing this.
Ring and just ask if you cancel the PPI, what would the new repayments be?
And if successful they have to pay back every penny plus interest etc, but keep at them anyway.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
