    Hi amersall,
Thanks for reading my post and replying,
Not anywhere do i hear her actually saying the full cost of PPI as i said above she only ever says the monthly cost will be £XX including PPI, she does mention it will only last five years but doesnt mention paying for it for full loan term. The credit agreement shows loan amount then PPI amount then adds them together giving total amount of credit but my partner being young and niave at time didnt realise he would be paying for PPI plus interest for full loan term also it doesnt state anywhere on agreement that PPI only last for first five years. I,ve also noticed it doesn't show anywhere on agreement total amount payable as im sure if he really knew that he wouldnt have been so stupid as to take loan out.
No one in their right mind would take this frontloaded ppi if it had been fully explained. The sales person did not give the full cost of this ppi, please put a second letter in with the facts you now know. This product was never explained properly and if i were you i would get a claim in with these reasons asap, please do this and dont let them get away with it.

    Hi guys,

right i have a question, hoping someone here might be able to help me.

I've run into a bit of trouble with my car, and need a new one. already have an existing loan with Halifax, with a complaint going through the system about PPI. so I rung them up asking if i could increase my loan, to get a new car.

Before checking any credit reports or anything like that, the operator said that there is a note on the system saying that i am not allowed any more credit.

    2 part question:-

    1. is this something to do with the fact that i have put in a complaint about there loan?
    2. is this against my statutory rights?

    cheers,

    Steve

    hi amersall,
    thanks for quick response,
i really want to post letter asap but im now worried with PPI_Technichal_Expert response regarding PPI payout due to still recieving full pay when off sick and wonder if i should ask for T&C first.
mind you my letter contains both points regarding payout and not being advised properly about total cost etc do you think should just send it and hope for best?

    Hi Steve

I am not sure on this one, are they trying to say the limit is the limit on borrowing more perhaps?

I think it would be a good idea to post this on a separate thread within the ppi threads, so maybe Dunstonh may have the answers to this one for you.

    Wishing you luck with this.;)

Hi there, you could ask for t&c just to put your mind at rest and see if you could claim both, reasons we have stated are enough for a mis sell if ever there was any. Doesnt matter if you could claim on the ppi or not, the full cost and implications of this ppi were not explained to you.

Hi again!!!. Just looked at pinnacle mortgage cover, and you can claim on this insurance and still get other benefits (sick pay etc) so you dont need the terms and conditions. As i said, you have valid reasons for mis sell on this, even without the cover paying out issue,so if i were you i would get the letter sent off.

Hi there, the insurance that pays out even if you claim elsewhere (sickness etc) was mortgage cover, do you know what insurance you have with these? as no other insurance on pinnacle site says that you can claim this as well as other?.
