advice needed please
i recieved a letter from fos on 15/9/2010 saying lloyds agreed with the adjucators decision and would make a refund of ppi on a credit card.i filled in the acceptance form and returned it to the fos.about 4 weeks passed and i heard nothing from lloyds or fos,so i rang fos just to make sure they recieved the acceptance and i was told the acceptance was sent to lloyds on 1/10/2010.i rang lloyds and i was told a refund had been calculated and the calculations were sent to me on 12/10/2010.
i waited about a week and no letter so i rang lloyds and i was told "they have not recieved the acceptance form from fos" so i rang fos and they told me we sent the acceptance form on the 18/10/2010 not on the 1/10/2010.:mad::mad:.
as it stands now i have the fos saying they sent it, lloyds are saying they have not recieved it.
i dont know what to do next
any advice please0 -
Hello all, I am reading alot on here at the mo that the banks are now putting all the pending casses on hold... I have 2 in with Lloyds at the mo and wondered if any of you know the official stance?? I am getting the horrible vibe that this whole thing is gonna go down the same route as the bank charges reclaim saga, which I lost out on before!!! Help.....0

Hiya
If you have not done this by email, I would email Lloyds at the email below and copy it to the Chief Executive officer (CEO).
Details below, remember to enclose your claim ref number and inform the FOS what you have done as well, good luck.

Hiya
I would do what amersall suggests, but may I ask on how long ago did you put in the reclaims with Lloyds?
Was this before the Judical Review came into affect?
I have left lloyds email contact details on the above post, with details of the CEO, contact them as well for details, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Does anyone know if you write to the fos, how long it will take to expect a reply,
(please dont say how long is a piece of string) lol
Hi there
Going from my own experience, I have received an acknowledgement from the FOS about 2-3 weeks after they received my complaint.
Then they confirm they get in touch as soon as its been passed on to an adjudicator.
There are backlogs, but if straight forward, for example it could take about 6 months, in the worse scenario about 18 months, but of course this depends if this have been resolved at the earlier stages, or if the adjudicator will pass on to the ombudsman for a review, as some bank/loan companies either ignore the adjudicators decision, or do not accept liability, in this case its moved on to the ombudsman.
Hopefully yours will be straight forward and resolved in the earlier stages, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
