    Hello there

This is one for Dunstonh to help with, if you post this on a new thread below as "mortgage ppi help" then I'm sure Dunstonh will be along to give some advice on this for you.

    Good luck.;)

  • Hi Everyone!

Just hoping for a little advice. I have only just discovered that I am paying PPI on a halifax credit card for the last year or so. I cannot recall agreeing to this as I set it over the telephone. Another thing which concerns me is that no one asked me about pre- existing medical conditions which I have and so I wonder if I ever needed to claim would they indeed pay out???
Any advice would be much appreciated!!!

    Hi there

Not sure if you missed my post above, but if your having problems posting on a separate thread for this please confirm, so we can set this up for you.
Dunstonh knows more on mortgage ppi, although its likely you can make a reclaim on this, but he normally posts on the separate threads below.
    Cheers.;)

    Hello there

I would ask them to send you a copy of the telephone conversations, they may send them free of charge, but otherwise its requested through a Subject access request (SAR) where they have 40 calendar days to comply, and send all the details they hold on your account.
You enclose £10 cheque or postal order for this request and there is a SAR template letter on the link here:

Also check for more details with the procedures of reclaiming ppi below, this takes you to the reclaiming questionnaire, you complete this and send to whoever set up your policy from the start, they have 8 weeks to give a decision, remember to keep all copies of what you send and receive in case you need to refer to this at some point.

    Hope this helps.;)

almost definately they wouldn't pay out - which means you've been paying for insurance you couldn't claim against

    advice needed please

i recieved a letter from fos on 15/9/2010 saying lloyds agreed with the adjucators decision and would make a refund of ppi on a credit card.i filled in the acceptance form and returned it to the fos.about 4 weeks passed and i heard nothing from lloyds or fos,so i rang fos just to make sure they recieved the acceptance and i was told the acceptance was sent to lloyds on 1/10/2010.i rang lloyds and i was told a refund had been calculated and the calculations were sent to me on 12/10/2010.

i waited about a week and no letter so i rang lloyds and i was told "they have not recieved the acceptance form from fos" so i rang fos and they told me we sent the acceptance form on the 18/10/2010 not on the 1/10/2010.:mad::mad:.
as it stands now i have the fos saying they sent it, lloyds are saying they have not recieved it.

i dont know what to do next

    any advice please

Hello all, I am reading alot on here at the mo that the banks are now putting all the pending casses on hold... I have 2 in with Lloyds at the mo and wondered if any of you know the official stance?? I am getting the horrible vibe that this whole thing is gonna go down the same route as the bank charges reclaim saga, which I lost out on before!!! Help.....
