oh ok, these solicitors seems familiar from these forums!!! Not heard of the third one though, black lion law... ???

Do you have any paperwork for loans.co.uk? If you do then perhaps a company number and address would be useful so we can confirm for definate who to make the complaint to and for you, yourself to actually take the complaint forward and not pay a penny.

Just googled blacklionlaw and it seems they are a relatively new company from their website or lack of it lol. Hmmmmmm, how these solicitors pass everything around and you never get to hear from any of them. Did you pay anything over to them or any of these?
fsa registration no 302668. Hope tis is what you need. 6 marlin house, croxley business park, watford, wd18 8td. So after 2years i perhaps should do it myself, also should i ask my current solicitor for all correspondance they have as of know. I HAVE MADE NO PAYMENTS TO ANYBODY I ASKED BLACKLION LAW WHAT THERE CHARGES WOULD BE AND THEY ESTIMATE ABOUT £600 WHICH I ASKED TO BE PUT IN WRITING ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT.

Hi, its a pleasure to help.

Firstly you need to make the complaint and give the firm that sold you the PPI 8 weeks for a full and final response and then if they do not uphold it you would be free to use the FOS as your loan was taken out after regulations.

There is a guide to reclaiming here

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

You make your complaint with whatever reasons you have for misselling as all cases are different and the only cost to you is the price of a stamp. If you require any help along the way there are plenty of helpful people here.

Don't forget to send your letter by recorded delivery so you have a proof and keep an eye on the dates.

    Good luck

    Robbedofmymoney,
I will answer your questions. Sorry to not answer earlier, but I was busy today as well.
The REFUND I got (the £2020.01 IS for the PPI miss sale). But if you look closely, the PPI refund taken off loan is £2281.97 which I did NOT get.
The interest rate is at that figure of 11.9% or 11.33%, I do not know what it is at present because it is in an IVA and has been since March 2007.
The amount which they are claiming in the IVA is £12,517.29 with £2281.97 refund which I did NOT get, but got £2020.01 the NEW total is £10,235.32
If you took off the £2020.01 (the amount I got as a (PPI REFUND in October 2009) from the £12,517.29 the ACUTAL figure of this loan is NOW £10,497.28.

So NOW I 3 COMPLETELY different amounts to this LOAN and Still I do NOT know which is CORRECT. I have £10,620.03 From April 2010, £10,235.32 from 5 August 2010 & NOW £10,497.28.
Egg has CHEATED me BIG TIME. I NEED some help
    Anyone PLEASE.
    Nickybutch

    sorry, one more question.

of the 2020.01 refund, was this given to you personally or did it come off the loan amount.

i have finally got to grips with all the numbers and how they add up.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free

Just wanted to ask about the payout time...We posted our letter to Lloyds accepting their offer as Di suggested.I checked it tracked through on RM on the 6th of July.

We then got a letter dated 27th July, thanking us for said acceptance. It states:
We will now calculate your refund as quickly as possible and we would like to ask for your patience during this time

    and then further down:
Until all calculations are complete we will not be able to give precise details. Please be assured that when we have processed your refund we will issue our final refund letter giving full details and figures of your refund with a breakdown of the total amount.

When should we be following up with them?
