Still haven't had a response to my email to Lloyds re the other card's PPI, despite ccing the CEO... how long have other people waited before getting a reply?

    Do you know what?
I think they are having that many emails they are having a job to keep up lol, but normally they do tend to get back by the following day the latest, however, I emailed them yesterday also CC'd to the CEO, and they not got back yet, so am expecting one back from them tomorrow, but I will resend otherwise, you do the same honey.;)

Hi this is my first post. I don't really know very much about finance etc so I was wondering could someone help. I got a phone call out the blue from a company offering to help me claim back money from any loans or credit cards I have had over the last 26 years. They went through the process on the phone of directing me to the government site to show they are okay. They said cause I have had a loan and various credit cards etc I would be in line for a rebate of at least £2,500 with the solicitor getting 30% and I have to pay up front £595 which I would get back if I didn't win. They also said I could get some of my credit card debt wiped out for example if they had increased my credit card limit, which they had. They are phoning me back tonight and am looking for some advice please. x

    Hi and welcome

In my personal opinion I would not bother, if you get the chance to read through the threads, lots on here have had lots of problems using claims companies, they do sound convincing and the majority of us on here receive these calls.

You could have a go yourself, with help free from this site, and if successful you will get to keep all your ppi refund, interest etc.

If you want to do this, take a look at the link below with further information, and the guidelines of reclaiming, all it takes is a questionnaire, these were recently issued by the financial ombudsman service (FOS), instead of template letters.

You complete, save a copy and send to whoever was responsible to setting up the policy from the start, they have 8 weeks in full to respond.
It is suggested to post by recorded delivery, this is your proof of posting.

The FOS questionnaire you will find on the link below, further down the page Stage one.

Hope this helps you decide, its all pretty straight forward really, good luck and ask for any help if required.;)

Hello all, was wondering if anyone has any idea how long cases are taking when they are passed to the CHEIF OMBUDSMAN, after they have been seen by an adjudicator and the firm does not agree/answer the original finding?

  • Just recieved a letter from Natwest/RBS dated 14th July stating they are still looking into my claim and need further time. However, I have already recieved a letter dated 12th July rejecting my claim. I have replied to this on 17th July giving them an opportunity to reasses their decision. The letters are from two different people for the same claim. Anyone else experienced this?
