Do I get a star now as I have completed everything on my lists? :) I can't believe how nice and tidy downstairs looks and I even felt proud when my neighbour came over for a lunch of homemade carrot soup :)

I am going to have a couple of hours watching t.v. and just generally relaxing until I have to start getting tea ready.

    Polish all the glass things
    Level Two
    declutter and vacuum/mop the floors!

dusty - big hugs. As you know i'm not a parent, i think everyone has given great advice. Sadly i think kids just say these things from time to time...it is easy for them to confuse their dislike of someone for one reason (e.g. the teacher being carp) with the colour of their skin etc. I would perhaps ask him when he gets in whether he has anything to tell you, and then that the head of year phones...see if he admits it before you have to say anything. BUT anyone who knows you knows you're a great mum, so don't think it's your fault. And I, like Greenbee, remember the disappointment of my parents as being far worse than their anger!

    diva - great news!

well i set off for work, later than planned as my boss phoned and wanted me to look up some stuff online as her internet was down...then she phoned as I got to the station to ask if there was anything I was coming in to do that I couldn't do at home! There was only one thing and so she said just leave it til tomorrow (I don't think she wanted to come in either!). So I had a bit of a walk, bought a couple of bits at boots and had a coffee and skinny cake lunchbreak whilst reading my book. Now working (ish)...there's only so much to do when the main part of my week has had to be cancelled due to the weather! We have to be super careful because if anyone slipped on ice they could sue us!!

    Hello all,

Thought I'd join you in this thread.

I could do with trying to tackle housework in a more organised fashion... normally it's such a hit and miss affair.

I've completed up to level 3 of the suggested tasks for the day. Taken me most of the morning, but I'm feeling soooo satisfied now!

Toots if you want to try the Christmas Cookie tart I have plenty here - I can send you one to try out if you want, saves you buying it. If you do like it then you can get yourself some. I love this one personally, its one that can be burnt all year I think. Let me have your address and I can pop it in the post overnight.

At the moment I have Vanilla and Pear burning from Yankee..mmmmm very scrummy!!!

:xmastree: Welcome to deccie! I have put a tree in so that Pigpen will spot you and add you to the list.

In my HHC I put the childrens bedding into the WM, and spent the rest of it clearing the gibble from the floor and under their beds. Found the socket set thingy DH has been moaning about having lost for ages which is great - less great is that DS1 appears to have used it to dismantle his bed side chair. Destined to be an engineer that one :rotfl: .

Off to do the school run now, need to hoover their floor when I get back.

Nicki/Sexymouse/Rach - keep forgetting to say well done on the weight loss :T .
Serena - Hope your feeling a bit better.

Give it a shake and see how many crumbs come out ;) Bet you've been doing what toots [STRIKE]does [/STRIKE]used to do and eating at your computer!

I've vacuumed & turned my mattress, and am about to remake my bed. I've also done my paperwork for the governing body meeting tonight, but as only one person out of 12 returned their paperwork, it wasn't exactly a hardship  although somewhat disappointing...

I'm not really making much progress today. I'd like a duvet day, but with the meeting tonight there's not much point, so I'm hoping Pigpen's stars will motivate me!
