  • Morning All :hello:

LG I completely understand where you're coming from. Like so many other things, there are always people that will take the p!ss. I think it's very unfair that you're having to pick up the slack. Hope you manage to get some sleep soon. (((hugs)))

Dog is walked, children in school, soup in SC... smelling gorgeous and making me hungry!!!!
I'm bracing myself, we're forecast more snow here this afternoon, and tonight. Now it remains to be seen whether the council will panic and make a decision to close all the schools, or wait and see if there's a reason to close them

    Off to get hair chopped!

BTW, I'm intrigued by Emily's 'errands' too. She is clearly a woman of mystery. :)

ETA: ooooo I meant to say last night, I made corned beef hash for tea. Following this:http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/corned-beef-hash-with-fried-eggs,749,RC.html recipe. It was bloomin lovely. I'm not a great one for corned beef, but the mustard and worcester sauce made it sooooo tasty. YUMMY!! I left off the eggs, cos it was for tea, but it would be a great brunch dish. I'm going to make it again on Saturday.... it feels like a Saturday lunch dish! :D

Working from my own list today, as the teens (are supposed to) do their own rooms!

I've done the main bedroom and landing:
    Washed bedlinen
Dusted bottom of wardrobe (you should have seen the dustbunnies under the lowest drawers -
    Flung books and bags etc
Dusted all the books on the large bookshelf on landing, and the shelves
Vacuumed throughout upstairs (although around everything on teens' floors)
    Made chicken stock

Off to deliver DD to school and pick up DS1, then S'burys for bread, milk and stir fry - and lots of sugar, as I am going to make marmalade this afternoon!

I blocked my work diary for today, as I still have a sore throat - and a funny voice! I'm hoping a day of gentle flying in the warm will get rid of it before tomorrow!

Back for coffee in a mo...
