Just posting to agree, they definitely taste of orange, and I love them best too. But, I'd rather have green opal fruits.... ( whoops! showing my age.... what are they called now.....???????? )

Congrats Piggers. Welcome to the world Jacob, he is a cutie! :)

Virtual candle burning for Tris and Diva too.

See you all at some point tomorrow, having hair [strike]cut[/strike] beaten into submission in the morning. Children better be back at school tomorrow.

Ooooo BTW I made Yellow Split Pea and Chorizo soup in the SC... It was delish. DD2 and my little niece (6) devoured it! Very proud to have children with a varied palate. :T :T

    Right, bed's a-calling.

Starbursts i think there called now, the green and the purple are the best. yummy
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • I'm sooooooooo kerknacked this morning, I can barely keep one eye open, and yet more fun predicted for today at the airport as it's chucking it down with snow again - might need to find a quiet loo cubicle at work for a 10 min kip at this rate - another 2 x 12.5 hour shifts to go, sob.
And I know being a parent is hard, but one of the reasons that I'm so done in is the amount of my colleagues who have rung in and said "sorry, schools are shut so I'm not coming in" - I'm going to ask to borrow one at this rate (sorry for moaning, but I feel like I've been run over and i'm feeling cheesed off that they haven't made alternative arrangements, especially when I know these particular colleagues have supportive partners who should be doing their share too (rant over)

No hope of flying until Friday but will try to keep up with thread on breaks

Keep warm and safe everyone x
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

LG - you'll have to sleep all weekend - never mind catching up with the flying!

G&B - hope you're given the all clear today for LO to have her op.

Soappie - hope you have a safe journey to work and back - I walked to work yesterday because DH was off and took the kids to school - I won't be able to do it today though as it would take me over an hour to do the round trip of taking the kids to their school and then going to my school and I'd be late for work!

I'm with the orange smarties gang too.

Woke up this morning full of cold but hey-ho - still have to go to work and do everything else!

Going to load the TD and do a HHI now I think.

    Catch you all later

    Have a good day

  • Wish I could sleep all weekend Jue, but have got an OU tutorial 35 miles away on Saturday and another long shift on Sun to do as a favour for a colleague that I can't get out of..........I could cry

Gotta go - got to dig out my car.......

Likklegibbon - hugs love sending you coping and strength vibes.
JulieJ - wish I could walk to work - but it's 20 miles away! Few options for public transport - no train station (thanks to Dr. Beeching!) and the buses are shot at the moment.

Thanks for the vibes for the journey. Keep 'em up! Apparently main roads are OK but the country lanes aren't. I have to do some country ones! But I shall take it slowly and steadily.

When I get home, I'll do my best to complete at least one day's list so I get a star!

    Morning :hello:

I woke up this morning with one of those 'OMG I've forgotten to do that' thoughts. And I have forgotten to do it as well

But on the plus side. I don't have a thing to do in the kitchen this morning cos I made it all sparkly before I went to bed last night.;)

I haven't got much to do on todays list. DS bedroom got blitzed on Saturday and DD bedroom got half blitzed yesterday. So not to bad a day in theory.
