  • A man on the news just said his sister's parents are available to babysit his kids. Trying to work out how his sister's parents could not be his parents too?????
I will stop posting random posts on here now. I'm a bit bored this evening, have you noticed!

Oooh smarties. So far on MSE today I have seen posts about doughnuts, chocolate, cake, fondant cake...now I want smarties! Have just had a bowl of cereal trying to fill my sugar craving but it's not worked!

    Thanks for the update Soappie

Pigpen, little Jacob is gorgeous. I must not get broody, I must not get broody, I must not get broody I think I already am. Is it wrong to stop taking the pill and not tell my DH?

    All Pink smarties too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hi Emily - someone alluded to it last night, but I'll be bold and say I'm fascinated by your errands. What are they? Is it a colloquial term (like messages seem to equate to shopping in certain parts of Scotland)?

I was hoping somebody would ask ;)

oooh I LOVE yellow French Fancies (and you only get two in a box) seen the cake but only in pink. I envy you your cake Nicki

It had to be kept hidden from the rest of the staff and the teacher who got it from Mr T's had to keep it in her car overnight as its her daughters favourite :rotfl::rotfl: As for your son :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: From my experience he sounds like a typical male! But then again there has to be a few decent ones out there somewhere... OddJob provides the only evidence I've seen that there must be some decent ones out there somewhere :rotfl:

Pigpen - Congrats on the new baby! :D He is sooo cute :D

I used to have a dog who like larger and full english breakfasts :rotfl::rotfl: I remember the year my mum put apple decorations on the Xmas tree, we went out and came back to find them quite a few of them on the floor all chewed :rotfl:

Flying wise I've done the weekly shop and thats about it. It took me 20 minutes this morning to remove a splinter from DD's finger, don't think she'll do that again as she went white as a sheet and was nearly sick  That resulted in us both being late for school...only by 5 minutes though so not too bad.

I've not been sleeping lately, still wide awake at 1am (it was gone 4am the other day) but I'm feeling very shattered so I'm going to go to bed now in the hopes of making it before I get a "second wind" ;) Night all

  • Hurrah - am ahead on tomorrow already! No little people here so just the spare room to think about, and with the decorating in there only having been finished a fortnight ago there's a lot of stuff recently done - the bed in there is only made up if someone stays too so one less lot of bedding to fret about! :j The wardrobe clear out is done - I found a pair of boots and two pairs of sandals to go to the charity shop as well as a long forgotten handbag. Quite a nice one really, but I have my curfrent favourites and I'd long since dismissed that one from memory so it can go. I guess I should add "take stuff to charity shop" to my extras list!

Also for this week: [STRIKE]Clear off and polish small coffee table.[/STRIKE]
Sort out a bundle of photo magazines to go up to our Neighbour - I promised them her weeks ago but she's four floors up and I've not summoned up the energy yet! :rotfl: If I take a bundle of them up there though it is less of them cluttering up the top of the sewing box.
[STRIKE]Tidy out the bottom of my wardrobe[/STRIKE]
Once the wardrobe is done and I have unearthed my knee high boots check if they now fit OK on my calves and give them a hoover out/clean/polish if so.

Bicarb is sorted -I managed to find a spare few inches in the bottom of the hall cupboard!

Millie, you need to highlight what you want to copy, then right click on the mouse and select copy from the list that appears. Then do the same and click paste in the document you want it to appear in.
To strike it out go advanced and there is an S with a line through it. Highlight what you want to cross out and then click the S.

Thanks to whoever told me this, see I remembered!
