I'm off to bed shortly ladies.

We have the bizarre sight of snow still on the ground but what appears to be rain falling which isn't actually melting the snow. The windscreen of my car which I cleared of snow about 4pm now has another light dusting. I'm off to clear it again in a moment (to save the potential clear frozen stuff later)

I am going to attempt to get into work tomorrow morning even though the forecast is for 'widespread ice'.

I would really appreciate some 'safe, skid free, idiot free, calm and uneventful drive to work in the morning and home again in the evening' vibes if anyone has a spare moment... ...

We don't have a dining table, much to my mother's shame.

Also managed to book smear (ouch ouch) which I have been avoided for a week and make time for a facial, pedicure and wax (less ouch) - well what's the point in working hard if you can't pamper yourself?

    Pigpen what a cutie.

I'm now decluttering a big tube of smarties and a cuppa, waiting for hubby to get home.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Oooh smarties. So far on MSE today I have seen posts about doughnuts, chocolate, cake, fondant cake...now I want smarties! Have just had a bowl of cereal trying to fill my sugar craving but it's not worked!

    Thanks for the update Soappie

Pigpen, little Jacob is gorgeous. I must not get broody, I must not get broody, I must not get broody I think I already am. Is it wrong to stop taking the pill and not tell my DH?
