And I've had some top news this morning. Just logged onto my company bank account and discovered I can download all the statements for FY ending 2008 into Excel. Normally I've had to sit and type it all up from the hard copy statements. That's saved me about 3 hours hard work!
Im so jealous Soappie!!

Great news mof77. Well done DS
What are you going to do with your 3 hours soappie?
So the next plan is to get your flat organised isn't it toots?
Morning all
Sunday pill taken and tea and toast being scoffed. Judging by the road (which was black in places when I closed the curtains) we have had more snow overnight.
I really must get my butt in gear. I'm wasting too much time doing nothing. And there is plenty to do.

Morning everyone,
Been up for an hour now - had a cup of tea, checked my online banking (was told the other day that people had been getting their cards cloned in an ATM that I used the other day, and luckily everything is OK with mine) and caught up with the thread. Need to head off to the gym in a minute to declutter some fat (I've been a naughty mouse this week eating lots of chocolate and biscuits). I didn't go on Friday cos I went on Thursday, so need to go today so that I can have all of the gym stuff washed for next week. So far on the work front, I've only got Wednesday all day and Thursday morning booked in, so hoping I get a bit more before half term.
OH decluttered the still empty television cabinet in our bedroom yesterday (we haven't got an ariel upstairs yet so can't get it all plugged in yet) as he'd been using it as a massive hotspot since we've moved in. I think I'll change the sheets in a minute and then dust the bedroom before I head out, as I think that little black furry is out at the moment so I can get the hoover out (he's scared of the hoover).
Will eat breakfast when I get home after my workout then make a start on the washing up (putting away the old stuff and doing the new).
Glad Tristan is awake and at home now Diva.
Hi to Serena - glad you're feeling a little bit better and that you have the trip to France to look forward to as well. The conference sounded really interesting, although I think that the techincal stuff (vokis etc) would have gone over my head. Reminds me I must look on the GTC website and see if they have anything coming up - I had to cancel the last one I was booked in for as we ended up going on holiday.
Soappie is your kitchen floor completed now? I wish I had your skill and decisiveness to get on with things that OH is taking forever and a day to do. Your doogie pictures are so cute and they always make me laugh.
Mudbath I think it was you the other day saying about the food your old cat used to like? My cat absolutely loves melon too, and he loves tuna (any time I open any type of tin he rushes in to see if it's tuna) and quorn ham (maybe because it's made from mushroom protein). When he was a kitten he used to love the tomato sauce on baked beans and if OH left a baked bean on the side that he'd dropped, Ebony would eat that too! lol
Rosepink it sounds like you have a very caring DH who seems to support you well. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with clinical depression too when I was 16, so I understand how you're feeling. If you want to PM me, feel free.
LadyL don't forget that if you need anything next week, give me a call. Just seen your post - you must be psychic!
Congratulations to Valli for making marmalade - you had me looking at the oranges yesterday, and I can't even eat orange! lol
Well I'd better get on with these sheets before Ebony gets settled on them again - oh dear, just had a look and he must have snuck in whilst I was typing and is now curled up in a little ball by my pillow. Will have to do them when I get home then.

morning all
have been up since about 8.30 as got sick of DH thrashing around all night and just as I properly got to sleep someone he does accounts for texted him at 8am  and even though phone only vibrated it woke me up. So I did most of last night's washing up (left some for him!) and have been catching up on here! Had a lovely evening with friends, decluttered all the food plus about 4 bottles of wine between us  but over quite a few hours. They really enjoyed the food and the evening. Plus my coffee table is totally clear for the first time in ages as DH cleared it so we could put the food on it (no doubt he'll put something back on it before long:rolleyes: )
lil_me - hope you got out last night and had a good time
valli - nice one on the marmalade. I love marmite and marmalade on toast....sounds gross, tastes great!toottifrootti wrote: »soappie I meant to ask you earlier - have you made any progress with the damp in the front room - maybe I missed that in one of your posts? That explains a lot toots! No reason you can't use your skills as a virtual assitant and get paid for it rather than just letting us have the benefit!
lilysue - hope you got on ok with the gumshield thing
weezl- your best bet would be to look in post 1 and do all the lists there as that should cover the whole place. I often do most of it in one day as I work full time
julie - hope the cough improves and you feel better soon
mo477 - well done to DS.
Right, off to make some porridge and then I'll be back to see what's left on my list, want to get my last star!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
