Seeing as you lot know everything... I was thinking about making sausage casserole in the SC today rather than the oven as I normally do. I realise that I will need to brown the sausages, so I assume it makes sense to soften the onions, peppers and chillies (well I've got a couple, so might as well use them ;) ) and other veggies at the same time. I'm using dried beans (soaked last night) so do I need to just do the 10 min boil and chuck them in, or should I cook them properly before adding them?

Still haven't moved from my desk... really need to get showered, dressed and moving, seeing as its the afternoon!

kalojac - welcome. Toots (our official meeter and greeter) will be in touch with you soon. In the meantime, the first post should explain everything. A new thread will start tonight, so you're best off starting with that tomorrow, as there will be new lists. Don't try to do more the level one and some decluttering for the first couple of weeks (unless your house is in a much better state than most of ours!)

gryfon - yes please! Pics would be good!

Made out of a pair of old jeans that were mine and some fabric I got in the fabric bin in a shop in Harlech a couple of years ago. Still need to tidy up the debris of material etc now!

  • Help! I am in an awful muddle. My house is in a cluttered up mess and I never seem to get on top of it all. I need motivation and encouragement and having stumbled on this thread, I think this is the place to get it. You are all so friendly; so please may I join you?

Thanks everyone :) Think it counts as Old Style due to the recycling! Want to make something else later. Starving now so my next three may take longer, feel sick I'm so hungry!

    Ta Da's:

    Get up
    Have show
    Have much needed coffee!
Woosh around the kitchen worktops and clear the mess from yesterday
5 minutes picking up stuff off kitchen floor and giving it a sweep
    Put dinner on

    To Do's:

    Empty bottom of dishwasher
    Unload washing machine
Empty and expand dining room table so I can move my sewing stuff there for tonight.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
