Mudders - Top news about your Dad!
Rach - Thanks - it was an 'interesting' drive! And, thinking about it this evening. Now I've done it once, I KNOW I can do it again if I need to. Have you settled on the pudding for tomorrow yet?
DeniseNZ - how's your weather there?

A bit of Gordon and Schweppes IT has been decluttered. NN works in town (about 2 miles away) and parks up outside the shop making full use of her disabled badge. She was told to leave work just before midday by her boss because of the weather. The normal journey is 15 minutes tops.
It took her 1 hour 10 minutes  to do those two miles - the town was gridlocked.

I think I got off lightly... only twice as long to do my journey

Evening everyone! Had an interesting day today - started snowing heavily at work about half 11 and, just after 12, the transport company that does most of our buses phoned and said they wanted to come and collect the children after lunch because the snow was bad in some areas. Cue lots of phoning parents, transport companies, etc. to organise getting over 100 children home earlier than expected! Started this at half 12 and last child went at 2:20. Then ate lunch before I came home! No snow here though, so I have been to Mr.S and done my food shopping.

Flying wise, apart from the shopping, I have finished filling the charity shop bag, and cooked and eaten dinner.

Hope everyone is ok - I am shattered!

DD got her i-pod so has been hogging the PC for some considerable time.
Intrigued as the software has picked up every sound file on here (including sound effects) and was busily dropping them onto her i-pod for her...she was wailing as there are over 400 tracks on the i pod now and she was only putting a few on - so now we have to re-connect it and remove them all. She wants to put her DVDs on it.
So if anyone can tell us how to avoid this software thinking for itself...

Pleased you got good news there Mudbath!
