Cats are very resiliant and will usually clean their own cuts quite well, f you can't afford the vets try abandoning outside a vetinary practice at night in a box, that way it should get the treatment it deserves. You can always get another kitten free from the pdsa once the baby is older
Yeah, that way if it doesn't die of cold, it will be treated & sent to another home, idea of the century that. Why are you even on the Pets board when it's quite obvious you hate animals so much? Do you have kids? Would you leave them outside a hospital overnight in this cold only to have them rehomed? Probably, going by that stupid post. The PDSA aren't a rescue & rehoming charity either so no hope of a free pet from them. Why not run along & troll elsewhere? YOU need treatment, preferably on my mental health ward.0 -
hardly like this is the first cat to lose some claws in a fight is it , get a grip.
Of course the cats in pain but a vets not going to do much other than charge a fortune and pretend you need to give it some overpriced and unneccessary antibiotics
lol @ die in a box comment, do you really think cats are so weedy they need a nice warm bed to sleep in or they die.0 -

Well then, why should dumping it outside a vets be a good idea? Get a grip yourself and stop talking self-contradicting rubbish.0 -
If the Cats in pain then it NEEDS a Vet, money or not. Never heard of painkillers? Would you like to be in pain? And I don't know about Cats losing claws, i've heard of it but never seen it, is it like when they're declawed in America? If so I wouldn't like to be the Cat.
I hope you never need a Dentist & never break bones or anything painful & find yourself unable to get pain relief. If you can't afford a Pet, don't have one!0 -

Perhaps if you get your nails ripped out we can stick them in bleach just so you can suffer a bit more.
And to suggest dumping a cat? And then going getting another? You really are a total waste of space to these boards arent you0 -
mandy is correct when she says the vet will do nothing.0

I think you'll find I said IF it doesn't die of cold which a Dog very recently did from being left out all night. Maybe you should go spend the night outside tonight with no clothes or heating, hopefully it'll at least give your fingers a PAINFUL case of frostbite so you can't type such !!!!!! & feel how the Cat does. Right now there's threads on here on other boards about how cold it is & how much heating costs, if we don't need heating why the threads? Why the CWP's? A Cat is certainly no tougher than us. Now go get a life.0 -
A cat being outside and running about is able to stay warm in very cold weather - a sick cat in a box is pretty vulnerable - I hope this thread does not get closed as the OP has not been online since she posted this morning, and there is some vital advice and information on here for her. I just re-read my post, and realised I came accross as quite rude I have edited it so that its a little less rude!
I think the cats paw may well be infected which could lead to blood poisoning, and the ongoing use of peroxide is probably making it very painful. I would only ever bathe a wound in salt water without vet advice.0 -

If the animal is suffering, the Vet will do something, which Vet school did you qualify at again?0 -

I really, really hope you are taking the p1ss here. For people who bang on about rescues charging too much thank god they do charge, to counter this mentality.
IE - it's only a cat, dump it, hope for the best, that the vet takes pity on it - but hey, who cares? you can get another one for free, you can always dump that when they going gets tough, probably from the rescue that had to pay for your last cats wounds to be treated.
Nice attitude Mandy0
