Naomim - That sucks! Why'd they bother doing that - just seems mean to me! And I'm on the London/Surrey border too in snowy Surbiton!
I'm in West Ewell so only up the road from you
I'm not at work again today as now it's too icy to drive and I checked the trains and there's no service on my line. So it's another day at home with DH and DS and driving each other crazy. I don't think DH is talking to me
we were a bit crabby with each other last night. Ah well
I'm meant to be at the cinema this evening as I have tickets for a free screening of Doubt. I really don't want to waste them so will wait until a bit later before deciding what to do. Fingers crossed another nsd for me

Well anyone with a snow day I hope you enjoy it, we have returned to normal here (it is raining).
I have prepared my lunch for today and have uni after work so not much chance for spending especially if I don't go out of the office at lunchtime.
Planning to walk to work again and will get a lift home so hopefully no spends there either. So I am going for a double NSD wish me luck.

Hi All
The snow finally arrived last night, so at home today, which will mean a NSD for today.
Wasn't quite so good yesterday, took a trip to Lidls with one of my mates (she needed some stuff) and I spent £1.26 on pop, biscuits and sweets. Not going to count this tho(!) as it was from some change left in my purse from last week.
So, my £10 is still intact..yay :j
The good thing tho is that I hadn't really taken a look at Lidls till yesterday and can now see the benefits of shopping there! I'll definately be picking up some stuff from there in the future.
Hope everyone has a good day...snow or not.:snow_grin

Edinburgh snow has run away!
I was aiming for a NSD, but have taken my flasks of hot water to work and not my flipping mug  I'm going to try and beg a mug from somewhere, as they are little flasks and the lid would be no use as a mug.
If I don't get a cup I might crack and spend money on tea but I'm hoping to be strong

Morning all!
It's stopped snowing but there's still lots of snow around, and I'm not sure I want to go out because it's very icy now and I'm very good at falling over!
Hopefully another NSD for me today - seeing my best friend but got a lovely beef stew on so maybe we can eat that instead of getting takeaway - I'll let you know how I'll get on!2019 Aim: Save £10,000
Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now0 -

Hi All.
Just returned from a morning's teaching, where the children were so excited by the snow. (Some of them had never seen snow before... it was quite magical!)
Today will be a low spend day, as I need to use my money to top up the shop! We seem to get through more bananas than the monkeys! (Not that I've ever counted...)
OH has gone to Norfolk today, so I'm on my own till Friday.
Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
